Astral Projection

Assalam Alaikum. I want to know whether an astral projection is a sinful thing or not. If you do not know that astral projection is, it is an ejection your soul from your physical body. In my opinion, it is not a sinful thing, but I want to make sure. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad [Peace Be Upon Him) went to Jerusalem when an angel carried Him to Jerusalem. His wife, Aisha, said that the Prophet did not get out of the bed during that time, which explains it is not a sin. But like I said, I just want to make sure it is not a sinful thing.

@only that is not the answer to the question because it is not from a reliable souce and the prophate journey is called miraj and it is physical and natural and is not called astrai projection which is man made and i dont think it is a sunna bcos He (SAW) goes for a mission not for meditation and anything that will make you out of your mind or body or insine will definitely spoil ur ablution so be warn @Azamjon. Exactly Brother. And that is what I have also mentioned in my comment that the night journey of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) was not Astral Projection but Physcial. :-)

I don't want to give any answer regarding Astral Projection because I have only a little knowledge about it. However, I want to tell you that the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)'s night journey (Mi'raj) was not an out of body experience but Physical.

Then it was not a astral projection.

Astral projection (or astral travel) is an interpretation of out-of-body experience that assumes the existence of an "astral body" separate from the physical body and capable of traveling outside it. Astral projection or travel denotes the astral body leaving the physical body to travel in the astral plane. Wa Alaikum assalaam

If I do not write English, then I am talking in arabic. You can understand arabic, because that is what I am writing. You see this becomes up to you to understand, for this is the answer to your comment. If you do not understand this, then you should try understanding this in Arabic letters... Look and you shall find what you must understand and accept..

Astral projection could be seen as a type of meditation and out of body experience, it could be associated with just plainly a dream. A dream is not sinful. But astral projection is also seen as being in the after life, that could be that he sees his most wanted wish or the most feared. All this is just plain use of the imagination, but there have to be some adjustment to get there. It is not sinful to use his imagination at all, but the imagination is unlimited. So it could be straight on like in the reality, but it could also be just something that is not truly... If Prophet Muhammad did it, then it should be allowed. But it could be seen as something not advisable by others maybe...
