IN THE NAME OF GOD! SALAM. Why do muslim`s country be at war? who is guilty? whose is footprint?

asked 3518 persiangulf1666's gravatar image

Your question is a good one. I too have wondered as to WHY? Some people say it is the Westerners' fault, some say it is the greed for power by the Muslim leaders, some say it is our weak deen...and the list goes on. Ironically, the Muslim world is not a peaceful one and yet our deen IS all about PEACE. So what is going on? From my observations, it is a number of factors intertwined. First, we do not allow freedom of speech. Second, we do not allow people to choose their leaders. Third, we do not respect each other as many of us lack good manners and good upbringing. We are aggressive in our everyday behaviour. We have broken up into sects and are not following the Sunnah. Here, I am speaking generally but of course there are many, many of us who are trying our best to be righteous and to please Allah. The reason why non-Muslims have invaded Muslim countries is because while we are so busy bickering and killing each other, it is an open invitation to enter and take charge of some of the natural wealth that Allah has blessed us with. We have created these situations. Don't blame Westerners or anybody else. Accept responsibility. Acknowledge that we are wrong in our behaviours. We trully have deviated from the right path. But not until we come together in peace and have honest leaders and start clinging to our deen, will we ever begin to make progress and stop the bloodshed. Allah gave us this life and we don't have the right to take it from each other. We must learn to VALUE life as it comes from Allah. We could be the most prosperous, most peace loving people but instead we have to endure and watch innocent lives being taken and broken. What kind of a world are we creating for our children?

Hey, Abul Rauf, have you ever thought about what the expression 'holly cow' means? Yes in the past people made an image of a cow and begun worshipping it. It happened during Moses absence, look it up in the Qur'an. Even today, some people think that cows are sacred. Us Muslims don't fall into either category. We doo not believe in any holy cows, alhamdilollah. So, if you are a Muslim, a believer, then my advice is to let this expression go. It will be better for you and other impressionable young Muslims won't begin using this unbecoming expression. Salaam.

stronghold, sup? sorry to disappiont but i'm not a muslim. but yes i know the story of the golden calf. well maybe not as good as i thought. was moses up on mount saini receiving the ten commandments when his brother aaron collected gold from amoung the people and made a golden calf. sorry if that isn't accurate but it's been 30 years since i read exodus. so where is it at in the koran? i would love to compare the two stories. so you didn't get my joke. it was pretty round about. the question on the stem cell beef. holy cow. no? not funny? but i was just taken aback by your response. peace.

Response to your request is somewhat delayed but here it is. I have posted it as a response below as it would not fit in this comment section. In this Sura, the story of Moses is told in greater detail but references to Moses are made in numerous other Suras. Sura A’raf tells of his preparation for his mission, and his struggles with his own rebellious people who transgressed God’s covenant. And oh yeah, I did see the light heartedness in the stem cell beef and the holy cow reference. What’s coming next??? On the other hand, let’s not go there : ) Salaams to you.

Muslims are suppossed to be peaceful . They only should induldge in a war if iiman and people's are at danger. But today , muslim countries like iran , afghanistan are associated with war . I think this happened because we have weak faith . I think we are guilty ourselves.

because Muslim countries have been victims of colonialism and imperialism in the latest centuries. main Muslim countries have been losing wars and sinking deep into economical decline for like 400 years. any other country would have perished under such circumstances. why were Muslim countries targeted for colonialism? you will need to search for "orientalism" and "war for resource" for that on google.

answered 614 pargali's gravatar image

the whole world, save anartica was targeted for colonialism. the europeans fought amoungst themselves for more than 400 years. yet there is still a europe. germany was leveled in ww2, yet there is a germany. the islamic empire colonised many lands and cultures itself. but yes, now you have been losing wars do to technically inferior weapons and strategies. and now that the colonialist have left you fight amoungst yourselfs.

theres also still egypt, arabia, pakistan etc. do you even know the world map? İslam isnt a country you moron. go back to school. also western shits didnt "leave" middle east alone, on the contrary, their whole life is about fucking up middle east. if you put europeans into an economical crisis, if you take their money away, if you invade them and murder them over and over again, they would have been wiped out, they would have cut each others throats and ate their hearts. but middle east survives thousands times more than what any barbaric eu country can handle. guess why?

(Aug 25 '13 at 14:08) pargali pargali's gravatar image

lol. i know the world map quite well. i said they "left". as in they conquered, than they "left". not that they did "leave" the middle east alone. perhaps english isn't your first language? your reading comprehention skills are poor at best. the europeans conquered the western hemisphere. africa. indo china. singapore. taiwain. have you ever heard of the opium wars. so why is it that the middle east survives? your fucking god. please. you owe more to ghandi than allah. i maybe be a moron, but clearly you are an idiot.

but thanks for the laugh.

So you Abdul rauf is a moron? Something to think about.. And Pargali is a idiot? OK you know that idiots and morons can still understand, then they can become something else. hmm if you start thinking a little about what can be the cause of things, then you start to think in new ways maybe... There have been many wars the last century and what has been done since?

Assalamu alaikum this is a point i want to make it clear to all. The very moment d prophet died dat mark d begining of conflict among d companion mostly on politics. in an hadith d prophet said dont start war among urself for if u start there shall be no end to it. And Allah said in d quran surah 29(ankaboot) verse 2 i quote" do people think dat they wil b left alone bcos they say we beleive & wil not be tested" Allah made it clear in so many chapters dat he wil test us in many ways so as to test our faith. The khufar wil fight & put boredom on muslim only when we denouced d word lailaha illlallahu muhammada rasulila then they wil leave us & among us are munafiqun who are assistant d khufar to acheive this aim. So my advice here is let first have dknowledge of d deen wallah we have to fear Allah dis life is too short for hatred among ourself

Yes mike I agree with the brother, the wars being fought are not for the sake of Allah they are fought for the sake of shaytan who looks back at us when we lookk in the mirror. And it is no one fault but our own. To blame anyone or anything else only proves the weakness of faith amongst the muslim ummah worldwide. MAY ALLAH PROTECT AND GUIDE THE TRUE BELIEVER.. SALAAM

The thing is to have control of a area, when there is no control of that then things like wars happen. And when there are countries that are without control there will always be some that steps up wanting power for they believe they know best for what is right. But what is right is what the people want, not just a group of people that just want power by force like killing or demanding others. The thing is to get control first by peace to try to help or give advices or just let them solve things their own with help. In Afghanistan there was no control at all, but now there has been some sort of better you can say. But really in Afghanistan people had it OK before, they survived by them self´s mostly. But when there is poor places, then richer countries should be a support at least. And when there are terrorist groups fighting for there point of view with bombing and killing, then those places are out of control because those groups attack places around the world to make their point of view get heard or just they are just fighting for their belief. And their belief sets what they want. You know there are groups that are terrorists and they fight for their belief. And if you look up on the internet like on you can find people that are saying they are fighting for making others know fear. Then when you think of that, to feel fear for others is what they want. Why do we really need to feel fear? Is it not something that does not help, because it only sets the people on the wrong path. Does it not?

answered 0543145 UnknownUser's gravatar image

That is why Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala said to fear him. Not fear people. The only one should be feared is ALLAH. SALAM

(Aug 23 '13 at 21:39) sadie ♦ sadie's gravatar image

hmm... OK so the only one that should be feared is Allah. But why do Muslims have Jihad? Does not that make people fear Muslims?

(Aug 25 '13 at 14:10) UnknownUser UnknownUser's gravatar image

they have Jihad because theyre not afraid to defend themselves from people. dont mistake Jihad with crusades. crusades are for offense. Jihad is for defense.

(Aug 25 '13 at 14:14) pargali pargali's gravatar image

Is not Jihad a attack?

(Aug 25 '13 at 18:34) UnknownUser UnknownUser's gravatar image

No its defending. Whether against people or our own selves. Seems like you are in the right place to finally learn the truth.

4321 It is reported on the authority of Sa'b b. Jaththama that the Prophet of Allah (may peace be upon him), when asked about the women and children of the polytheists being killed during the night raid, said: They are from them.

Was Islam spread by the sword?

Praise be to Allaah.

Islam was spread by proof and evidence, in the case of those who listened to the message and responded to it. And it was spread by strength and the sword in the case of those who stubbornly resisted, until they had no choice and had to submit to the new reality.

And Allaah is the source of strength. May Allaah bless our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions, and grant them peace.

There is always a war between good and evil. truth and falsehood. if Muslims are presenting/carrying the truth, then no doubt the forces of evil won't leave them to exist in peace.

answered 387116 inclined2truth's gravatar image

Truth or falsehood, I am gonna tell you something about that when it comes to Christianity and Islam. If mon can try to think about what Jesus told and who he was, then you see that the Quran is a answer for that. You know Christians believe something and Muslims believe something else about Jesus, but no one reads and understand good enough. Jesus said something that should be counted, for he was there to bring the truth in the open. Who is the carrier of the truth is the one that can see the truth, but all say they know the truth. But why don´t they understand?

(Aug 27 '13 at 06:31) UnknownUser UnknownUser's gravatar image

I never read in the Bible that Jesus is saying that he is god, but totally the opposite. even about his death, some of the people think same as Muslims that he was not dead and while some others thought that he was dead. Islam gave you the correct information without any doubt in it. Jesus and Muhammad and the prophets pbut generally were the best model of people on the earth with the best religion)Islam) from Allah/God. So do not judge the religion by its followers, but first know the truth and then you will know its true followers.

Sura VII. (A’raf)

146.Those who behave arrogantly on the earth in defiance of right, them will I turn away from My signs, they will not believe in them; and if they see the way of right conduct, they will not adopt it as the way; but if they see the way of error that is the way they will adopt; for they rejected Our signs, and failed to take warning from them.

  1. Those who reject Our signs and the meeting in the hereafter, vain are their deeds: can they expect to be rewarded except as they have wrought?

  2. The people of Moses made in his absence, out of their ornaments, the image of a calf, (for worship): it seemed to low: did they not see that it could neither speak to them nor show them the way? They took it for worship and they did wrong.

149. When they repented, and saw that they had erred, they said: "If our Lord have not mercy upon us and forgive us, we shall indeed be of those who perish."

  1. When Moses came back to his people, angry and grieved, he said: "Evil it is that ye have done in my place in my absence: did ye make haste to bring on the judgment of your Lord?" He put down the tablets, seized his brother by (the hair of) his head, and dragged him to him. Aaron said: "Son of my mother! the people did indeed reckon me as naught, and went near to slaying me! make not the enemies rejoice over my misfortune, nor count thou me amongst the people of sin."

  2. Moses prayed: "O my Lord! forgive me and my brother! admit us to Thy mercy! for Thou art the Most Merciful of those who sow mercy!"

  3. Those who took the calf (for worship) will indeed be overwhelmed with wrath from their Lord, and with shame in this life: thus do We recompense those who invent (falsehoods)

  4. But those who do wrong but repent thereafter and (truly) believe, verily Thy Lord is thereafter Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

  5. When the anger of Moses was appeased, he took up the tablets: in the writing thereon was guidance and mercy for such as fear their Lord.

  6. And Moses chose seventy of his people for Our place of meeting: when they were seized with violent quaking, he prayed: "O my Lord! if it had been Thy will Thou couldst have destroyed, long before, both them and me: wouldst Thou destroy us for the deeds of the foolish one among us? This is no more than Thy trial: by it Thou causest whom Thou wilt to stray, and Thou leadest whom Thou wilt into the right path. Thou art our protector: so forgive us and give us Thy mercy; for Thou art the best of those who forgive.

  7. And ordain for us that which is good, in this life and in the hereafter: for we have turned unto Thee " He said: "With My punishment I visit whom I will; but My mercy extendeth to all things. That (Mercy)I shall ordain for those who do right, and practice regular charity, and those who believe in Our signs;

  8. "Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (Scriptures); in the law and the Gospel; for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil: he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honor him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him, it is they who will prosper."

  9. Say: "O men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He that giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, who believed in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) ye may be guided."

  10. Of the people of Moses there is a section who guide and do justice in the light of truth.

  11. We divided them into twelve tribes or nations. We directed Moses by inspiration, when his (thirsty) people asked him for water: "Strike the rock with thy staff": out of it there gushed forth twelve springs: each group knew its own place for water. We gave them the shade of clouds, and sent down to them manna and quails, (saying): "Eat of the good things We have provided for you": (but they rebelled): to Us they did no harm, but they harmed their own souls.
