I have read that there is reward for guarding chastity, and that there will be beautiful women in Jannah. One who is married also can do this and it is easier for him to do so, he gets the reward and it is easier for him to attain the reward. These questions are given that a man is not married because he cannot (e.g. lacks age, money etc. etc.) |

A Muslim who doesn't marry his Deen will not be completed. So, actually he will loose the reward if he doesn't marry without a valid reason. At-Tirmidhi Hadith 3096 Narrated by Anas ibn Malik Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "When a man marries he has fulfilled half of the ‘deen’; so let him fear Allah regarding the remaining half." Sahih Bukhari, Wedlock, Marriage (Nikaah), Hadith no. 4 Narrated 'Abdullah (R.A): We were with the Prophet (S.A.W) while we were young and had no wealth whatever. So Allah's Apostle (S.A.W) said, "O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc.), and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power." So, marriage is an essential part of the deen. A person who controls his sexual desires actually does Jihad-e-Akbar (Jihad of the highest order). This is the jihad (struggle) for self-reformation. The struggle is against our own temptations such as greed, lust and other worldly temptations. So, you don't have to control your sexual desires and just marry, but if somehow you can't like you are very young, have no job to support family or ill. Then there are many many rewards for controlling your self from doing wrong and lowering your gaze like you will get women of Jannah, Allah (S.W.T) will be pleased with you and much more. |
