If enslavement of people is haram, then why did the sahaba and prophet muhammad (PBUH) still engage in owning of slaves?

I AM A SLAVE OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD S.A.W.W. FORCEFUL ENSLAVEMENT TO INNOCENT IS PROHIBITED.

BUT THOSE WHO FEELS HONORED IN BEING ENSLAVED OF HAZRAT MUHAMMAD S.A.W.W, NOT A ISSUE BROTHER.
