I have many atheists friends of mine who quarrel with me regarding islam..although they believe the first part of the shahadah i.e LA ILAHA ILLALAH- "THERE is NO GOD" I just need to emphasise/work on ILLALAH-"but ALLAH". whenever I come up with the ayah/verses of the QURAN defining the oneness of ALLAH and how MERCIFUL he is.. they say me "we are ready to convert just prove us how ALLAH exists"?? |

Just give them food and let them finish. And ask them, Now prove me no one has cooked it :D. Holy Qur'an says, And whoever Allah guides - he is the [rightly] guided; and whoever He sends astray - you will never find for them protectors besides Him, and We will gather them on the Day of Resurrection [fallen] on their faces - blind, dumb and deaf. Their refuge is Hell; every time it subsides We increase them in blazing fire. [Holy Qur'an 17:97] Guidance is from Allah (S.W.T) alone and he (S.W.T) gives guidance to those whom he (S.W.T) wills so you don't have to worry about them. If they don't believe its not your responsibility, your only responsibility was to convey the message of Islam to them and you have done it. |

Yes. here is what Holy Qur'an says, Say, "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon him is only that [duty] with which he has been charged, and upon you is that with which you have been charged. And if you obey him, you will be [rightly] guided. And there is not upon the Messenger except the [responsibility for] clear notification." [Holy Qur'an 24:54] Conveying the message of Islam was the only duty of Messengers (Peace be upon them all) as well. 1
+(If we think that it's not unbelievers' fault if they never heard about Islam, then it's false. Everyone in this world had the chance to hear it at least once in their life.) +(The important thing for Muslims is not succeeding in guiding unbelievers to Islam. In this case, I would say leave them as Holy Qur'an says, Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. [Holy Qur'an 2:6] And be patient over what they say and avoid them with gracious avoidance. And leave Me with [the matter of] the deniers, those of ease [in life], and allow them respite a little. [Holy Qur'an 73:10-11] Don't give them chance to say more. Even some people died as disbelievers in the worldly life time of Holy Prophet (S.A.W). Allah guides whom he wills and you have done your duty. hmmm I had produced this aayah of surah baqarah in front of them bt i will do that again..thanks and fa antum wa jazakumALLAHU khairan for your wise advice !

your friends already said la ilaha that mean your half job done. now let them understand about big bang theory. this theory was proposed only in 1927.while the quran had it already 1400 years ago. so you mention to them some verse from holly quran. "have not the unbelievers ever considered that skies and the earth were once one mass, then we split them asunder (noble quran 21:30) "then turned he to the heaven when it was smoke, and said unto it and unto the earth: come both of you, willingly or loth. they said: we com, obedient."(noble quran 41:11) "is not he who created the heavens and the earth able to create the likes of them? yes; and he is the knowing creator. his command is only when he intends a thing that he says to it, 'be', and it is."(quran. 36:81-82) and quran says about expanding universe too "and the heaven we created with might, and indeed we are (its) expander."(quran. 51:47) after you mention this ayaath if they have little sense they can't say there is no god. so let them say la ilaha illallah muhammadu rasoolullah. |

they are atheists saying la ilaha I meant that they already believe that there is no god..but I need to work on illalah-"but ALLAH"...but your advice was kind enough..stay blessed ! you just explain them no body knows when allah gives hidaya. i have one friend in the beginning he was trying to say all religion is made by human. after my explanation he understood islam is right religion.now he saying that who borne as a muslim they are lucky.my friend can't convert it is very difficult for him.and not to force just give the knowledge. hidaya from allah only. @ibm yes brother very well said..even atheists say that the religion islam was made by the rulers of big big kingdoms to control the population of the people and to put them on straight path..nauzobillah..! your words were very kind..! stay blessed..! may ALLAH give u reward for your just and righteous behaviour..! |

although I have tried giving them an example like, if I slap u hard, u cant see the pain but u can feel it likewise we cant see ALLAH we can just feel his existence around us. |

The best way to go about that is be you. Not in your words but in your actions because after all Allah will and does exist with or without anyone believing. And remember Allah says he will guide whom he pleases and leave astray whom he pleases. All power is with him alone. Maybe call on Allah for this person and let Allah decide . Insha Allah that may help |

dear I know all this that ofcourse ALLAH does exists but just needed some more examples to make them understand ! I'm sorry I guess I don't understand what it is you want. Because 1. These people are not your friends 2. They are more than likely not really with intention to covert they are playing with you and mocking you when they ask YOU to prove their is a god. 3. You can't make anyone understand or have faith that's Allah subhana WA ta'ala's power. I do understand your intention is good however.... It would be better to do duaa for these people to the Allah subhana WA ta'ala . He is the best to help right!?! 1

Just make them to do an actual "scientific" research and then ask them to tell you how everything came to be. It sure wasn't no big bang theroy due to the simple matter that space is with put gravity, so there fore the explosion that these scientist say happened to cause the universe, can not be true. For with no gravity an explosion would send particles away from eachother, from this we can see that the planets would not have formed. So after that what created the heaven's and the earth? A scholar said that if he were to show you a mansion with furniture and a pond and all these lavish things and then try to tell you that it created itself you would say that he is crazy. So how can they say that all of creation created itself? |
