Assalamu 'alaykum . I live in a room with my friends as I'm in college . Masjid is a little far from my place like 10 minutes away approximately . So most of the time I pray in the room only . I have made a space for praying in the room . My friends drink alcohol in the room not at my prayer space but in room sometimes . So my question is that can I still offer my prayer in the room or not because alcohol is served or drunk in the room ? Please explain this to me in brief . Jazakallahu khair .

Wa 'alaykumus salam . You must pray with jama'at at a masjid . Amar Ibn Umme Maktum ( Radiallahu ta'ala 'anhu ) went to Rasoolullah ( Sawllallahu 'alayhi wa sallam ) one day and told him " Ya Rasoolullah ( Sawllallahu 'alayhi wa sallam ) , There are many dangerous animals in Medina . I am blind . My house is also very far from the masjid . There is no one who can take me to a masjid . So , can I pray at my home ? Rasoolullah ( Sawllallahu 'alayhi wa sallam ) asked him " can you hear Athan ? " The sahabi ( Radiallahu ta'ala 'anhu ) said " yes , I can hear Athan " Rasoolullah ( Sawllallahu 'alayhi wa sallam ) said " Then you must go to the masjid . There is no other way for you " ( Abu Dawood ) So , you must go to the masjid . You should only pray nawfil salats at home . If the musalla is free from najis , you will have no problem praying , even if in that room alcohol is drunk and served . What I mean here is that you can pray in a room where alcohol is drunk , but you must be sure that the certain space in the room where you chose to pray is tahir and free from najis . You should try to live with good muslims only , because living with an alcoholic might cause you serious problems . I edited this and hope that it will be easier for you to understand .

Follow that Hadith above. And we have been encourage to live with a good muslim. Shaytan can tempt you one day to have it in mind to taste the alcohol which is a sim.tell him never to drink in the room again.if he didnt answer you, tell him never to drink while you are in the room.if he does again. Make him fear that you will ask,BEG ALLAH SUBHANA WAT'ALA TO PUNISH HIM SERIOUSLY. Just to fear him not that if he does you will do it. Also pray for him that he should not drink again.
