Assalamu 'alaykum . Please answer my questions related to making up prayers :

1 - Can make up prayers be performed before performing a farz namaz of that time ? I mean can I perform the qaza namaz of fajar first then perform routine dhuhur namaz ? Is this to applicable to all namaz , 'isha , dhuhr , 'asar and maghrib ?

2 - What is the correct way of performing qaza namaz ?

ASSALAMU 'ALAYKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATUHU WA MAGFIRATUHU.i am surprised to see that no one answered your question. I will try to give answers to your questions.Answer- 1.if you miss a faradh prayer due to problems you should pray the qadha prayer before praying any other faradh prayer.otherwise it will not be accepted by Allah.yes, this rule is applicable to every faraz prayers. Example. If you miss fazar prayer due to sleep, and wake up before the sun is in the zenith , then you should pray the qadha for the sunnate muaqqada of the fazar prayer first and then pray the qadha for the faraz prayer. You only have to make qadha for the sunnate muqqada, the wajib witr prayer and the faraz prayers.and there is another rule which is only applicable to the fazar prayer that if you fail to pray the qadha before waqt-e dhuhur, then you should only pray the qadha for the faradh prayer of fazar and then pray the prayer of dhuhur. 2.the current way of making qadha namaz is that if u miss a faradh prayer due to problems, then you should pray the qadha prayer of the faradh prayer that you have missed before you start praying any other faraz prayer of any waqt.and you cannot pray in the time of sunrise (time after fazar), and in the time of zenith(when sun is exactly in the middle of the sky before waqt-e dhuhur) and when it is time for sunset(just before maghrib prayer).praying the qadha prayer is like all other prayers , like if u miss two raka'ats of faradh of the fazar prayer then you have to pray 2 raka'ats of qadha for the faraz prayer only.like this ,you have to pray qadha for the exact amount of raka'ats that you have missed.and everything else is just like normal prayers exept the niyyat.if you want to pray qadha for the faradh prayer of fazar, you have to make a special niyyat ,like this(you don't have to speak niyyat out loud, you just need to say this inside your mind)-NIYYAT :I AM PRAYING THE QADHA FOR THE (the number of raka'ats should be mentioned here) RAKA'AH (name of the kind of prayer,faraz/wazib/sunnate muaqqadah) PRAYER OF (name of the waqt of prayer that you have missed) FACING THE QIBLA .(say all this inside your mind) THEN SAY "Allahu Akbar" using your lips but not so loudly that others might hear you.then pray the amount of raka'ats you have to pray like any other prayer. 3.yes , you can pray nawfil prayers after witr . (if any mistake occured,it happened because i am imperfect, and Allah is perfect and may he forgive me and you and others and may he guide us and give you jannatul firdouse and save u from hellfire.Ameen) maa'assalam.

you need to pray as it comes from within your inspired heart and with your own free will. and you can also read Quran or recite a part of Quran, whichever you like. you can qaza your whole fajr and you can qaza each one of them seperately.

for qaza, the way you left your original namaz, thats how the qaza has to be done. for example if you have left your zawal, you do your zawal qaza as the zawal way. but you dont have to do it in the noon. time and place may be different. its enough to declare "i am doing qaza for my zawal that i have left" for example. the rest is the same. you can qaza your zawal in the midnight for example, before or after your witr.

you can do nafil whenever you like.

It is good when prayer is spontaneous. It is good to recite from Quran, but it is also good to speak freely to Allah at any time for any reason. The strictness of salat could feel mechanical, so it is good to personalize your prayers.
