Attend the mosque daily. Pray with hushu, feeling that Allah is listening to you. Make dua constantly, it would make a feeling that you need Allah. Think of Jannah, fear Allah.

It is my humble opinion. May Allah guide us All.

Salam,

I think most of us believe Allah and His messenger [salallahu aleyhi wassalam] but how much do we Who Allah is, let me tell you one thing about Allah and His abilities Allah says in the Qur'an.

[It is the same [to Him] concerning you whether one conceals [his] speech or one publicizes it and whether one is hidden by night or conspicuous [among others] by day] [13 v10] my brother do you know what this means, well let me explain to you and let you in the secret of this verse where Allah says,[It is the same [to Him] concerning you whether one conceals [his] speech or one publicizes it] Allah is telling you look at My abilities and look how I know you that you have intentions and that these intentions and thoughts which no one else can hear while you are in the market or siting next to someone and your saying things about him in your mind which he can not hear nor anyone else, Allah hears He hears your thoughts when you are talking to yourself in your mind He hears the same way that when you actually speak to someone with your real voice Allah hears your thoughts the same way therefore, to Allah it is the same whether you speak out loud with your voice everyone hearing you or you stay silent thoughts running in your mind.

So my brother the only way that will help you stop doing what you are doing is to know who you are doing it for and ask yourself do I even know really Whom I worship? upon your heart to it and welcome your Lord as He should be just like Allah says, [Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah . Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured] [13 v28]

Waalaikumusalam warahmattullah.. Ahmad.. Your name already one of most likely Allah SWT call upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW. Be proud and thankful of it. Show the meaning of your name to people around you. Your name is your attitude.. We as human being always making mistake, doing sins that even ourself dont realized it. No matter big or small, many or not, they(syaitan) always keeping us to made wrong decissions, sins and things that not good.. So always ask protection/doa from Allah SWT.. A'uzubillahiminasyaitannirajim.. I also follow Rasulullah SAW sunnah, do my best to live my life.. Alhamdulillah.. The most important thing is, NEVER GIVE UP on your life.. Keep sholat, read Al-Quran Nul Karim, follow sunnah, learn hadith.. InsyaAllah. . Wassalam..
