its good advise. really it is. but its not easy to follow. its not easy to let someone treat u like dirt but still smile in their face.

This isn't an Islamic question. That's why I closed the other one. You are more than welcome to ask this in community site.

@a_mohammed.

Many years ago I read a story about a guy who, every morning, went to the same newspaper shop to buy his daily paper. Every day, without fail, the shopkeeper was extremely rude to this guy; and every day this guy responded with a smile and a kind word.

One morning, after so many months, the shopkeeper said: ‘I don’t understand. Every day I’m rude to you, and every day you respond with kindness. Why is this?’

‘Ah,’ said the guy. ‘I treat you with kindness because that’s the way I am. And I’m not going to let you decide how I’m going to behave!’

Of course it’s hard. It takes courage to respond with kindness when all you want to do is punch someone on the nose, especially when they deserve it!

It is the Lord of Mercy who asks us to fight against our very selves: to be better people than the world, and our enemies, would have us be. Impossible that He would ask such a fight of us, and not provide the means by which we can win.

oh the mushiest :p just got anger problems a lot :p

(Jun 18 '13 at 07:45) a_mohammed a_mohammed's gravatar image

LOL. I understand. Anger has its place; but can be very destructive. I think you know this. Hard for me to say any more. I’m too old a bunny to offer advice made useless by my lack of knowledge (and by the fact that you haven’t asked for it)!

(Jun 18 '13 at 08:00) UnknownUser UnknownUser's gravatar image

i have to asked for it thats why i posted this. advise me!

(Jun 18 '13 at 08:08) a_mohammed a_mohammed's gravatar image

You say you have anger problems, but I don’t know what they are. I don’t know what causes you to feel the way you do. Because of my ignorance it would be wrong to offer advice, even when you ask for it. My words might cause more harm than good.

On the Community site there is a facility to send private messages. If you wish to do this - to me, or to someone else, then that might be better than an open forum. Since I am a man you might want to get guidance from someone like Sadie before writing to me. I will not be offended if she advises otherwise.

i understand how that might be wrong for me to talk to a man. yes. but. no offence to sadie im sure shes a great person. i dont really like her that much. see. im a big meanie sometimes too.

Now! Now! I’m an old geezer with three grown-up daughters. The Daddy Instinct is strong. The offer is there, if you wish.
