I have a question relating to zackath. For eg. I have 300000 USD for a around 8 years now which was brought for the current market before 8yrs which is very low compared to now in the year 2013. That money is just in the safe for all these years. I'm giving zackath for that for all these years. I just want to know how to calculate each year to give zackath. Do I have to deduct the amount of zackath I paid all these years and the balance multiply by 2.5%. Please let me know how to calculate. Do I have to see the cost of what I purchased the dollars 8years back which was very low compared to now or should I calculate zackath of the current market of the dollar each year. Let me know. Thank you.
