If the country has both Muslims and christian then we go by the law that are governed there, for example if the laws of Allah sharia is been governed their then there is no problem you can joined the Army and the likes of it that you wish, but if the law that is been governed there like you said constitutional law, which is not the laws of Allah sharia then the same rule will be applied as if you are living in a none Muslim country and that is you are not allowed to joined the Army and the likes of it, but there is no problem of joining the Police and community worker.

Don't you think a country like mine where muslims does not join the army, dont you think the muslims will be dump, and forced to leave their religioun. So i think it is possible for a muslim to join the army in a democratic country like mine. The 2006 census shows that we muslims are 54%-56% of the country population and growing faster even wordwide. And it is also good for us to participate in politics so that we can defend our religioun and communities. I think it is not haram to participate in all this, thank you brothers.

Brother Ahmed

Your using the word I think...and I bran to you Allah says...so you see the difference and if you say it is okay to join their Army and the likes of it then your saying if war breaks between the country your living in and a Muslim country you are willing to fight your own Muslim brother and kill your own brother because ones you joined their Army of where you are then you have no choice but to follow orders, and who ever kills a Muslim then Allah says,

And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein; and the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him [4 v93] this means who ever kills another Muslim his punishment is hell for eternity and he will never come out.

So you see my brother it is not that simple and you will never find a verse in the Qur'an or a hadith that says you are allow to join their Arm forces, therefore, it is forbidden to a Muslim to join the disbelievers Arm forces.

My brother i understand what you are saying but try to understand mine and i am not agaist the words of Allah. It is just that when you allow all the christain to been in power they will cheat us. And it not theres, it is ours(i am talking about my country; chtainity/ISLAM). And most of the leaders are all muslims even in the house of assembly because the muslims state is much than the christain state. And in the ethnics groups, most of the Emirs, obas(that is the kings of community) are all muslims. So it is not a christain conntry. Will still have sharias laws in the country but it is not followed by the christain only. And we are pratising democracy to bring islamic laws fully will be hard because of the christains. And not to cause conflict.

Salam,

If you are in a Muslim country where there is the laws of Allah been governed you can joined the Army, Police and the like of it and it is well encouraged in Islam and Allah talks about defending the Muslims and their lands and properties a lot.

If you are in a none Muslim country then you are not allow to join the Army, special force, and the Marines and the like of it, but however what you are allowed to join is the Police and community workers.

The rule is that we look at what the country is been governed with and Allah says, [But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission] [65-4] Allah here when He says, [But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge] He Has joined believe with sharia law concerning on the people who accept Islam as their religion, so in the same way so too the land they live in, meaning that the land will not be called an Islamic state if the laws of Allah are not governed in that land but the people are Muslim and they will not be responsible for it but their leaders will take all the burden and will be responsible for it at the day of judgment for not governing the sharia over the people as Allah says here, [until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves] meaning that it is the leaders who firstly start to govern with the laws of Allah upon the people and that land which they live in and this is the reason why Allah says about the people if they refuse to take laws of Allah and accept from their leaders implementing on them, [But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge] to conclude we always look at the laws that are governed before we take certain jobs like the Army and the like of it.

Bismillahirahmanirrahim. Assalaamualaikum. For me, to do what is nevertheless the kind of work as are army, policy, trade experts doctoral though, intentions and our goals for the work or submissive is important. We're working or submissive as we worship Allah wa Taala subhana. Work is worship. As our prayers, we are determined to do the job it is to get His pleasure. InsyaAllah we will still make what was once difficult job though. waAllahutaalaalam. Wassalam.
