"ELO-i, ELO-i, lama sabachthani?" = "My ELOH (god), my ELOH (god), why did you forsake me?"

These are the purported words of Jesus Christ according to the Gospel of Matthew.

I love the fact that we all care and Love God enough to spend our valuable time discussing theology of monothiest religion. History has proven these great people exhisted Jesus, Muhammed Abraham, Moses, They started three of the greatest religions the world has ever known. To doubt their contribution is ignorant. I am reminded of a story of a pharoh who also was curious about the true religion he called the greatest scholars of Judiasm, christianity and islam to present their cases before him.. The christian and Jewish scholars were reluctant to go first so they can have the last word. So the Muslim went first. He said the Christians claim you must believe in Jesus Christ to attain Salvation (paradise). The Jewish faith is the same. It is the same for us Muslims.(YOu must accept Muhammed Peace and Blessings of God be on all the Prophets)to attain paradise) If this is true I am safe because we believe in Jesus and Moses but they can never enter Paradise because they do not accept the prophet Muhammed. Discussion over. no rebuttle. In Acts the bible said Jesus (son of man) a prophet mighty in word and deed. Tell me which is right; God, son of god ,son of man, prophet no wonder there is so much confusion.. Stop the lies, God is One; Luke 18v19,20 Mark 12 v.29 KJV...

"At that time Jesus said. 'I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and the intelligent and have revealed them to infants; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will." Matthew 11:25-26, Luke 10:21.

Jesus Christ thanking who? Does he thanking his father? Who is his father?

answered 2329 Muhammad%20Izammudin%20Ismail's gravatar image

Of course God himself...

Jesus was thanking the God of Abraham. Mark 12:35 While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, he asked, How is it that the teachers of the law say that the Christ is the son of David? 36 David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, Declared: "The Lord said to my Lord: :Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet." 37 David himself calls him 'Lord.' How then can he be his son?" Matthew 26:63&64 When Jesus was before the Sanhedrin the high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the Living God: Tell us if you are the Christ the Son of God?" "Yes it is as you say" Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: in the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." The high priest tore his robes. In Luke 4:33&34 In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an evil spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice, "Ha! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazaereth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are-the Holy One of God!"
I guess the easy answer for a Moslem would be the standard answer, "the Bible was changed," and, "there are so many versions." All you need to do is prove that the different versions do not agree, and show where the changes were made. You can start by comparing the different versions and the changes with the dead sea scrolls. And also the five hundred original texts of the Bible.

The Bible has not been changed or is in a different versions before, the new testament is well developed after Jesus death. And the old testament is well held as a book with laws to follow. Now muslims have to stop complaining other religions are wors, because they do different. We are all humans that need friends, future and family

Thank you for reply brother. My point is to whom Jesus was praying? Why he thanking the god of Abraham when he himself is a god? How many god does Jesus have to thank?

answered 2329 Muhammad%20Izammudin%20Ismail's gravatar image

He was praying to God, the Father, the creator of all things. Jesus said "before Abraham was I AM" the jews understood what he was saying and wanted to kill him. Remember when God spoke to Moses from the burning bush he said to tell the people that I AM sent you. Jesus was saying that he was God. When He was taken up into Heaven He said he would send "the Comforter," but there are not three Gods there is just one.

what was Abraham before?
A should be read before abraham was, now i am. If you read Like 18v.19,20 Or Mark 12v.29 Jesus is saying only God is Good dont you know the commandments God is only ONE. He is excluding himself from Gods greatness. So they are not three in one..Jesus was his humble servent. And you should know him as the one who was sent by God. A PROPHET.

While on earth Christ lived as a perfect man, and as such he prayed to the One God. He was true God and true man. Some where it is written about God "it is impossible to please Him" as imperfect men we can never attain the perfection that God demands, but in his great love for us he sent his Son to suffer and die for our sins. After three days Jesus was raised from the grave and became the first born of all creation. In doing this he is the pattern for all believers. We receive life because he died and has risen from the grave. In doing this he paid the penelty of eternal damnation for all mankind. If you have faith and believe that he did this for you then you will be saved. We do good works, not to earn our way into heaven, it is our only way of showing our thanks for all he has done for us. Christians do not kill unbelievers because of there unbelief, I cannot force you to believe what you are convinced in your own mind is not true. You can tell me about what you believe and I can tell you about what I believe. Only God can change the heart. Those who try to force there beliefs on others only fool themselves. One last thing, In Matthew 5:43 Jesus said "You have heard that it was said, love your neighbor and hate your enemy. 44 But I tell you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." Quran 8:60 Sahih International And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.

[102] Do the Unbelievers think that they can take My servants as beings to be worshiped, than Me, to help them? We have prepared Hell for the unbelievers as a welcome.
