Asalamu Alikum

InshAllah I am travelling from Cairo Egypt on the 13th at 6:30 pm to Los Angeles California InshAllah. As we know arafat will be on the 14th in the Middle East and as I'm pretty sure the west Will celebrate eid on the the 16th so I'm thinking two questions I have. When will arafat be in the west. The second Main question is my flight information will be from Cairo to Dubai, UAE and from Dubai to Los Angeles, California. My transit will be in Dubai for 9 hours about. I want to know how do I fast? I read online something about breaking your fast when you see the sun completely set in the air when your on the airplane. So I'm thinking start my fast in Dubai when fajr begins there and then breaking it when I see the sunset when I'm flying in the Air. The thing Is, it seems like flying from Dubai at 9am to Los angeles I will be following the sun since both the sun and the air plane are going from east to west, seeming like the sun won't ever go down when I'm in the air and I'll be arriving in the Los Angeles InshAllah at 2 pm. So to fast this correct would I be starting my fast in Dubai at 4 am then breaking my fast in Los Angeles at whatever time maghrib is. I'm thinking it's going to be a 24 hour fast or maybe longer. Please help me figure this out because arafat is very important to me. Who can pass this beautiful oppurtinity to fast it and Allah knows best. Salam

This first question I'm going to follow the sun from Cairo to Dubai to Los Angeles in the air. When do I start and break my fast. ( will be in Dubai before Fajr ) The second question when is arafat in the west.

we'll be flying into the sun. not following it. "sun and the air plane are going from east to west" you will be traveling west to east.
