Salam.i dont know how to read in arabic if I read in translation is it acceptable?help me

Yes, it is acceptable. Get a version with English and Arabic, and you can read the transliteration along side it, and you will be able to recognize the Arabic words, and to recite verses in Arabic. Look at the Quran explorer site, http://www.quranexplorer.com/quran/ This is great to learn by. My experience of reading the English translation, is that I can understand what it says and relate to it very well. I too need to read and learn more Arabic, Im just a conversationalist in Arabic, be it in simplicity, slang terms, comes with knowing Arabs !!!
