As-salamu 'alaikum. Sir/madam whoever you are kindly don't take this as a troll and plz read the whole question and dont delete it plz. The reason it is so long is that the question i will be asking is concerned with my life in this world and in the hereafter, thus it requires details. Morever, i cant find anyone who can answer these questions for me. Plz help me and plz save my life. Brother/Sister plz send quick answer I'm so scared of hellfire T _ T. I was born in a family that does believe in Islam but isn't very good at practicing it. I learned LA ILAHA ILLALLAH when i was a baby but as i said earlier because of an un-islamic environment i stopped praying and fasting in ramadan when i was maybe 5 or 6 yrs old. I started praying 5 salats and fasting in ramadan again when i was 15. Within this time i committed countless sins, such as not praying, not fasting, lying, insulting, kufri, even blashphemy several times. Now i am 17 and very scared of hellfire. I heard that one who insults Allah and his messenger(peace be upon him) is to be executed. Sadly i have committed this sin many times in my life not knowing the consequences. I would do these sins out of pain and jealousy. Now i regret doing these sins so much that i just wanna suicide, i don't want such a sinner like me to live in this world anymore. I asked several websites that whether i should receive death penalty for insulting Allah or not. They replied that Allah can still forgive me if i repent sincerely. It just seems impossible to me that how can such a sin be forgiven, as I committed blashphemy not only once, but many times in my life. One day, after a while after i did this sin, an earthquake occured, i now think that this happened because of Allah's wrath at me for insulting him. I feel so sorry now i am almost becoming insane. I laugh for no reason sometimes and try to suicide. This ramadan i tried to jump off from a building, being ashamed at myself for insulting the one who created me. I feel so sorry i sometimes want to kill my family members because they didn't teach me that insulting Allah is one of the gravest sins and is punishable with eternal torture in hellfire, WHICH IS 70TIMES HOTTER THAN NORMAL FIRE! I am so scared now i am scared of my death i might die any second i don't know what will happen. I repented so many times i even said Astaghfirullah for days. Now i just pray the 5 salahs, recite Qur'an and fast in ramadan. Is this enough? I now dont know what to do i am scared i might die any second. I see weird dreams sometimes i see such scary things I sometimes shout Allah's name out of fear for hellfire i am becoming crazy i am so scared that i cant even focus on my work i can die any second! Not only that i also feel that my iman is very weak i dont wanna die this way. Plz help me. If i am to receieve death penalty then kindly inform me. And also tell me where should I go to get myself executed. Will Allah forgive if I receieve the punishment? JazakAllah.

Salam bro Firstly, if you commit suicide, Allah will never forgive, and you will most definitely go to Hell. Secondly, Allah most definitely WILL forgive you if you ask for forgiveness. There are so many verses in the Qur'an where it says that:

'They should rather pardon and overlook. Would you not love Allah to forgive you? Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful.' (Surat An-Nur, 22) There are way more, but I can't tell you all of them. Allah will forgive you, trust me. If you commit suicide, he won't. One of the first rules is that ur not allowed to kill yourself. It is Haram.

Also, that earthquake and you not being able to study? That's probably just a phycological thing. You're so scared that your mind is making all this ideas; almost like hallucinating. And brother! You're praying, reading the Qur'an! That's what you're supposed to do! If you carry on, you will definitely go to Heaven! Don't worry bout it! You're doing the right things, have repented to Allah, and He has forgiven you, as He is Most Merciful. Just focus on this life for now, but don't forget about the Hereafter. Don't stress too much bout it. It'll only make this life worse.

Salam brother, I can feel the pain in your heart, Brother do you know that 1/99 name of Allah is Al-Ghaffar which mean "the forgiving " Allah forgive those people who turn to him and ask for forgiveness.

The Quran says that Allah forgives all the sins committed by his slaves.

Say: “O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives ALL sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith (Islamic Monotheism) to your Lord and submit to Him, (in Islam), before the torment comes upon you, then you will not be helped.” S. 39:53-54

Allah accepts ONLY the repentance of those who do evil IN IGNORANCE AND FOOLISHNESS and repent SOON afterwards; it is they to whom Allah will forgive and Allah is Ever All Knower, All Wise. And of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil deeds until death faces one of them and he says: “Now I repent;” NOR of those WHO DIE while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful torment. S. 4:17-18

So my brother Allah will forgive you because you have ask for forgiveness and you are Ashamed of what you have done. Brother our first prophet Adam pbuh Nd his wife committed sin but then he ask forgiveness so know tell me how we can't commit sin when our belove fiend of Allah has did.

There is no doubt that committing suicide is a forbidden act and one of the major sins. Allaah The Exalted warns the person who commits suicide that He will be tortured in the Hereafter. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allaah is to you ever Merciful}[Quran 4:29]

There are also several Hadeeths on the punishment of the person who commits suicide: • It was narrated on the authority of Thaabit ibn Adh-Dhahhaak that the Prophet , said that whoever commits suicide by any means will be punished with it [by the same means] in Hell. [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim] • It was narrated on the authority of Abu-Hurayrah that the Prophet , said that the person who commits suicide by throttling or stabbing himself will be tortured in that way in Hell. • It was narrated on the authority of Abu-Hurayrah that the Prophet , said that whoever throws himself from a mountain on purpose and kills himself, will be in Hell, falling down into it and abiding therein forever; and whoever drinks poison and kills himself with it, will be carrying that poison in his hand and drinking it in Hell wherein he would dwell for eternity; and whoever kills himself with an iron weapon, will be carrying that weapon in his hand and stabbing his abdomen with it in Hell, wherein he would dwell for eternity. [Muslim]

Brother this all feeling aBout suicide is from sitan so you need to be strong enought to avoided those whisper of the sitan. Remember when a person is inside her mother womb that baby is in paradise and then when the baby come up to the world allah mention this that mankind and sitan will challenge each other because if you remember that sitan didn't bow down to Adam pbuh when Allah as him too, because sitan though he was more special than Adam SAW and he was made of fire. Wallahi he also promise Allah that he will astray/mislead us from Allah faith.

Sitan=devil

The question has fine to the point where we all be asking our self how we can make sitan weaker upon our self!

  • recite the Quran with your pure heart and remember Allah when reciting it*
  • increase Islamic activities in your house or find Islamic clubs and etc..... buy some Islamic book and read it*
  • find a faithful friend who has a lots of knowledge about Islam and leave your other friend who will mislead you learn the meaning of short Surah and much more...*

Turn your face to your left side and recite the below Surah and then spit three time, just be careful not to spit on your shoulder because that where the angel are.

1-Seeking refuge in Allah from the Shaitan (Satan) saying "A`oodho billahi mina ash-Shaitan ar-Rajeem (I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan."

Brother in this world every single person had committed bad sin and they will commits in future too, There not a person who is in this earth today and hasn't commit sin, every single person has commit sin but the true believer are those who ask forgives and asking Allah to make them closer to himself. Brother what you need to do is learn from your mistake and inshallah try to get into the trap of the Sitan or commit those sin again.

I will inshallah be posting some video for you to watch because it will be link to your question and it will inshallah help you to forget about the problem you are facing and be closer to Allah.

Mod please edit this post again if you want too.

Thank, May Allah help every Muslim with their difficulties and forgive their sin

Fear and hope (or punishment and reward)(steak and carrot) are very good motivator on our way to Allah. and fearing Allah is a sign of a good believer. In fact nobody feel safe from the plan of Allah except the losers(as we are told in Quran 7:99 "But no one feels secure from the plan of Allāh except the losing people". but in the same time, "...And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" (15:56) as Allah said to us; "Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allāh. Indeed, Allāh forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."(39;53)

I think you need to know more about the mercy of Allah and how much it is wide. by another word; the hope in Allah should be advanced and slightly more than our fear to Allah. As His mercy is advanced than His anger. so keep both fear in high level and also the hope more higher level than fear.

and notice that the best thing is to worship because He deserve to be worshipped not because of fearing His punishment in Jahannam or because of waiting His reward in Jannah. or by another word do not be as the bad slave who do not work well except when punished.. or as the bad employee who do not work well except when his salary is paid.. but worship Allah for the sake of His face of Jalaal/majesty and Ikraam/generosity.

May Allah suffice you and guide you and accept you in his righteous people by His mercy.. "Is not Allāh sufficient for His Servant? And [yet], they threaten you with those [they worship] other than Him. And whoever Allāh leaves astray – for him there is no guide. And whoever Allāh guides – for him there is no misleader. Is not Allāh Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution?" 39:36)

wa-ʿAlaykum as-Salām wa-Raḥmatullāhi wa-Barakātuhu, Dear brother, Just your demonstrating the degree of concern and sincere regret is a strong indication that you are truly regretful and anguished. You are 17 and highly reflective regarding your deen and this is a praiseworthy quality to have at such a young age. You have acquired this quality very early in your life and this fact in itself, should make you see that you are upon a good start. You have turned to Allah subhanahu Wa ta’ala with full regret and asked for forgiveness and this is par excellence.

I am somewhat confused regarding this statement:

“i stopped praying and fasting in ramadan when i was maybe 5 or 6”

Have a look at what the Prophet Mohammad Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said about fasting and children:

“The pens have been lifted from three: from one who has lost his mind until he comes back to his senses, from one who is sleeping until he wakes up, and from a child until he reaches the age of adolescence.” Narrated by Abu Dawood, 4399; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.

Fasting is not obligatory for young children, until they reach the age of adolescence.

Regarding other things which you say you did, you need to believe that Allah subhanahu Wa ta’ala will forgive you.

Allah subhanahu Wa ta’ala says:

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."(39:53)

Anas (radhiallahu anhu) said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) say:

“Allah the Exalted said:

“O son of Adam! As long as you invoke Me and plead to Me, I will forgive you whatever you have committed, and I will not make much of it.

O son of Adam! If your evil deeds reach the borders of the sky, and then you ask Me for forgiveness, I will forgive you.

O son of Adam! If you bring forth the earth full of errors, then you meet Me while you do not associate anything (or anyone) with Me, I will bring forth for you its full of forgiveness.” [At-Tirmidhee (Shaikh Albanee rendered it as Hasan)]

Dear brother, seek refuge in Allah and turn to Him and whenever you remember another worrisome event from the past, repent, and ASK for forgiveness. Soon, less and less of these things will come to invade your mind and worry you, as Allah subhanahu Wa ta’ala eases your days.

Do not let Shaitan take advantage of your present vulnerability but surround yourself with Allah subhanahu Wa ta’ala’s protection through prayers, duaas, dhikr, fasting charity and so on.

You have learned a powerful lesson and are a stronger person for it. That is Allah’s mercy upon you. JazakAllah

aww,

Of course Allah forgives sins. He says " لا تقنتوا من رحمة الله - انّ الله يغفير الذنوب جميعا - do not lose hope of Allah's mercy - Allah forgives ALL sins.

Thus, no matter what sin you commit, if you repent sincerely in this life before your death, Allah can forgive you.

Look at some of the Sahabah who converted late in Islam - like Hind, who arranged for the Prophet (saw)'s beloved uncle Hamza to be killed, then cut him up into pieces, took out his liver and chewed it, then spat it out - Both Allah and the Prophet (Saw) forgave her.

Many of the non-muslims of Makkah came to Madinah on many occasions to fight and kill the Prophet (saw), yet after the Muslims conquered Makkah, Allah forgave them all.

Even Muslims who commit sins, do tawbah, and Allah forgives them if they are sincere. You seem quite sincere, so you should have hope in Allah - also, you should never do those sins again, and should try to become more islamic and religiously aware, so that you know what sins are and that you need to stay away from them.
