I am about to get engaged to a guy but we are fighting alot and he isnt understanding or appreciative. I want to end our relationship for a little while so he can think about things and realise he is wrong but I am afraid he wont come back for me. Is it true that Allah has already chosen our future spouse? So my question here is that if Allah had chosen him for me will he come back even if I end our relationship now? Also please I need advice on duas and prayers to help me move on. Salam.

Beloved sister, Allah has not chosen your spouse you have, although Allah knows what your choice will be, for it was already written, it doesn't mean Allah interferes with your choice or anybody's for that matter. Now what I suggest to you is that you make istakara and ask Allah if your choice is good for you or not, for du'a is the weapon of the believers. Salaam
