Alsalualaikum.. After few days I am going to Umrah, and I will be honest, I am not a thin person, but anyway, my thighs always rub hard during Tawaf and Sa'e, and it goes really bad to the point of me not being able to walk, and this year I do not want it to happen again.

I read that any non-perfumed petroleum gel like Vaseline would do the job, but I tried it twice and it didn't work. I looked up online TEMPORARY URGENT solutions for this, there were 2 solutions, 1st is Vaseline, which I am not doing because it didn't work..

SECOND: Athletic Tape, it is a medical tape that is wrapped around injured areas that rub against each other and it really helps, I bought one and I tried it for a day, it worked great! Especially when I went jogging.

My question is - is it Haram or does it throw off my Umrah if I wrapped the fabric athletic tape around my thighs under Ihram when I am in Umrah?? It is the only solution I can find. Since of course you cannot wear underwear...

Could somebody help me and see if this is an exception and is it haram?? I would be really thankful...

Alsalamualaikum....
