Dear Sir: I am writing this email to ask you a question about my daughter in law. I am christian and I am from Iran, I grew up in the USA and my son met the Iranian Muslim girl. they were in love and they did civil marriage and they have happy life. My son did not convert to Islam and my daughter in law is Muslim. They have 1 one child and he is 5 year old now. My daughter in law needs to go to Iran, and all my friends tell me that it is dangerous, would you mind explaining why it is dangerous? what has my daughter in law done that she is in danger, and what kind of danger threatening her? If you provide all information with the reliable references, in details ( because I am not familiar with Islamic faith) I really appreciate that.

Regards, Mary Abkar

(1) And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe. And a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses to the people that perhaps they may remember.

( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #221)

Quran is no 1 source of Islamic law.
