Is it true that Allah says out of every 1000 people 999 will go to hellfire?

strong textI will go to hell if I fabricate Hadeeth(according to anther Hadeeth), and I do, not say out of context of Quran and Sunnah (Allah forgive me if I have not conveyed properly His message) , so here is my proof:

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection), 'O Adam.' Adam will reply, 'Labbaik wa Sa`daik', and all the good is in Your Hand.' Allah will say: 'Bring out the people of the fire.' Adam will say: 'O Allah! How many are the people of the Fire?' Allah will reply: 'From every one thousand, take out nine-hundred-and ninety-nine.' At that time children will become hoary headed, every pregnant female will have a miscarriage, and one will see mankind as drunken, yet they will not be drunken, but dreadful will be the Wrath of Allah." The companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Who is that (excepted) one?" He said, "Rejoice with glad tidings; one person will be from you and one-thousand will be from Gog and Magog." The Prophet (ﷺ) further said, "By Him in Whose Hands my life is, hope that you will be one-fourth of the people of Paradise." We shouted, "Allahu Akbar!" He added, "I hope that you will be one-third of the people of Paradise." We shouted, "Allahu Akbar!" He said, "I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise." We shouted, "Allahu Akbar!" He further said, "You (Muslims) (compared with non Muslims) are like a black hair in the skin of a white ox or like a white hair in the skin of a black ox (i.e. your number is very small as compared with theirs).

Yes beloved this is one version of this hadith for this version mentions gog and magog. The reason why I ask for it is a great debate amongst the scholars of who and what the gog and magog are. Some say humans, some say giants, some say the yahuds. Allahu Alim. I commend you for the research... salaam

Does this mean for every 1 Muslim their will be 999 none Muslims and that's why 999 out of every thousand will inter hell fire because they will out number the Muslims so greatly? So that means an ordinary Muslim that prays five times a day and does committee minor sins in his life will enter heaven right? You don't have to be a as good as good of a Muslim as a prophet or sheikh to enter heaven?

A bedouin with unkempt hair came to Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Inform me what Allah has made compulsory for me as regards the prayers." He replied: "You have to offer perfectly the five compulsory prayers in a day and night (24 hours), unless you want to pray Nawafil." The bedouin further asked, "Inform me what Allah has made compulsory for me as regards fasting." He replied, "You have to fast during the whole month of Ramadan, unless you want to fast more as Nawafil."

(continuing from last comment) The bedouin further asked, "Tell me how much Zakat Allah has enjoined on me." Thus, Allah's Apostle informed him about all the rules (i.e. fundamentals) of Islam. The bedouin then said, "By Him Who has honored you, I will neither perform any Nawafil nor will I decrease what Allah has enjoined on me. Allah's Apostle said, "If he is saying the truth, he will succeed (or he will be granted Paradise)." (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 31, Number 115)

ANOTHER HADITH! The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said : Verily Allaah ta'aalaa has said : Whosoever shows enmity to a walee (friend) of Mine, then I have declared war against him. And My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved to Me than the religious duties I have obligated upon him. And My servant continues to draw near to me with nawaafil (supererogatory) deeds until I Love him.

(continuing from last hadith) When I Love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him; and were he to seek refuge with Me, I would surely grant him refuge. Related by al-Bukhaaree

That's with reference to cog and magog as well. Their numbers are very big compared to whole human population. Near day of judgement they will be released and will approach from every side of the world, destroying and corrupting anything within their path. So you can add that to 999.

This race is human of course.

But logically speaking in the current world: sins>good deeds. So from Adam (as) till today can you tell me how many humans will be judged on Qiyamah as sinful?

And who can claim that he is follower of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) teaching? Very few indeed.

@abdul_wasay, are you saying that gog and magog is of the children of Adam? If so what is your proof for this. Salaam

I herd they are little short humans. They are not monsters. But that is a good question, are they decedent from Adam? ….

@lorik, what you are talking about is a hadith Qudsi and it is reported that the Rasul said to his companions, on the day Allah will command our father Adam AS to seperate his children, those that will go to paradise and those that will go to hellfire. Adam will ask Allah how to do what he has been commanded to do. Allah will say to him, from every one thousand 999 to hellfire one to paradise. This statement bothered the companions and the Rasul saws then said all of my ummah will be in paradise except those who will refuse. The companions asked him, O Rasul saws, who will refuse? He replyed, those that disobey me has refused. May Allah azza wal jall guide us, Ameen. Salaam

I heard something similar. If you look at our world, how many people pray 5 times a day in the mosque… suhanallah. So I wouldn't be surprised of a such number. I would expect even less people to go to jannah, but allah is so merciful. If he wills, he could let everyone enter, but nothing can compare to his wisdom. May allah make us of the 1/999!
