As-salamwalaikum. I'm from Bangladesh. I got a black magical problem on my wife. We made a love marriage last year. We made it hidden from our family. But, after knowing about our marriage My mother in law spell that on her took her away. Now, i have no choice to cure her by staying so far from for her. I want to know is removing black magic by black magic or using jinn is safe or haram in Islam. And what does Islam says about that. Than you.

Thank you dear brother for your question. It is haram and can lead to shirk (may Allah protect you from that!).

As for the cure, please read this by the Scholar Sheikh Al Munajjid from Saudi: http://islamqa.info/en/240

(Source: http://www.kalamullah.com/jinn.html): To cure black magic inshaAllah the following verses from the Qur'aan should be recited: on water, some of which is drank and the rest is used to take a bath. verse Al-Kursi (2:255), surah Al-Kafiroon (109), surah 112, 113, 114 ; the verses which mention magic, which are: in surah Al-Baqarah (2:102 ), Al-A'raaf (7:117-119), Yunus (10:79-82), and Taha (20:65-69).

Among the du'aa's which have been narrated from the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) to treat diseases such as sihr (magic) and other things is the ruqyah by means of which he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to treat his companions: “Allaahumma Rabb an-naas, adhhib il-ba's, washfi anta al-Shaafi laa shifaa'a illa shifaa'uka shifaa'an laa yughaadir saqaman (O Allaah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm and heal him, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing, with a healing which does not leave any disease behind).”

Aoa

Black magic is a fail on a believer but may work on someone else. It requires use of the evil jin also known as shaytan. Anyway there is a cure for that in Surah 114 and Surah 113.

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah), the Lord of the daybreak, (1) "From the evil of what He has created, (2) "And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness, (or the moon as it sets or goes away), (3) "And from the evil of those who practise witchcraft when they blow in the knots, (4) "And from the evil of the envier when he envies." (5) [113]

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind, (1) "The King of mankind - (2) "The Ilah (God) of mankind, (3) "From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah). (4) "Who whispers in the breasts of mankind. (5) "Of jinn and men." (6) [114]

The Iblees and his jin army make a run for it when they hear Quran, so recite it for Allah created these jinns:

'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary, we are groups having different ways (religious sects).[72:11]

{jinn themselves talking in this verse who heard the recitation of the glorious Quran}

You can read Surah Jinn where you will learn more about these creatures. This is the generosity of Allah, the droplet of knowledge that he gives us in the Quran.

Black magic puts you out of fold of Islam.

Jazakallah khair

To cure black magic using black magic is haram.

What you can do?

Recite Dua Manzil it is the cure of Black Magic and blow it on your wife or your wife can read it herself

Recite Sura Yaseen and blow it on your wife or your wife can read it herself

Recite Ayatul Kursi, Sura Ikhlas, Nas and Falaq and blow it on your wife or your wife can read it herself

Recite continuous Durood Shareef and blow it on your wife or your wife can read it herself

If possible go to a nearest mosque and quickly consult this matter with an Imam, Shaykh or etc. This is an emeregency.

Asalamu Alaikum My Muslim Brother.

Islam says that sorcery and black magic are real, but in this day and age, there is virtually no one left who knows that knowledge. In regards to your wife, Allah (s.w.t.) IS the ALL-POWERFUL. Please keep that in mind when you want to cure your wife. Koon Faya Koon. Ask Allah to cure her and that is all it takes. La hawla wala kwatan ila bellah al3ali al3athem. And again, sorcery and black magic died out a loooooong time ago. I am aware that there are people who might still know a fraction of the original knowledge, but, again, if you really worship Allah (s.w.t.), the difficulty of curing something like this is just as hard as making a hole in an extremely thin piece of paper with your finger.

Dear Muslim Brother/Sister: Do not make a comment based on an assumption of yours. Nabi Musa(a.s.) fought against The Pharaoh and his sorcerers (it is in the Holy Qur'an, please go read it) as one of many proofs of Allah (s.w.t.) to free the Jews under slavery. Know Islam before making hasty conclusions. In today's world, one can not see these practices because that is lost knowledge. Believe me, if you were at the time of Nabi Musa(a.s.) or Nabi Sulayman (a.s.) or many other prophets, sorcery and black magic were used on a daily basis.

Asalamu 3alaik Mike,

I did say that to you. If you read the quran, you would have come across the part which talks about the Pharoah and his sorcerers indicating that, at one time, sorcery was very real. instead of having you go find it, ill show you it:

"Then after them We sent Moses with Our Signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they wrongfully rejected them: So see what was the end of those who made mischief. Moses said: ‘O Pharaoh! I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds,- One for whom it is right to say nothing but truth about Allah. Now have I come unto you (people), from your Lord, with a clear (Sign): So let the Children of Israel depart along with me.’ (Pharaoh) said: ‘If indeed thou hast come with a Sign, show it forth,- if thou tellest the truth.’ Then (Moses) threw his rod, and behold! it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! And he drew out his hand, and behold! it was white to all beholders! Said the Chiefs of the people of Pharaoh: ‘This is indeed a sorcerer well-versed. His plan is to get you out of your land: then what is it ye counsel?’ They said: ‘Keep him and his brother in suspense (for a while); and send to the cities men to collect- And bring up to thee all (our) sorcerers well-versed.’ So there came the sorcerers to Pharaoh: They said, ‘Of course we shall have a (suitable) reward if we win!’ He said: ‘Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person).’ They said: ‘O Moses! wilt thou throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw?’ Said Moses: ‘Throw ye (first).’ So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them: for they showed a great (feat of) magic. We revealed to Moses: ‘Throw (now) thy rod’:and behold! it swallows up all the falsehoods which they fake! Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect. So they were vanquished there and then, and turned about humiliated. But the sorcerers fell down prostrate in adoration. Saying: ‘We believe in the Lord of the Worlds,- The Lord of Moses and Aaron.’ Said Pharaoh: ‘Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? Surely this is a trick which ye have planned in the city to drive out its people: but soon shall ye know (the consequences). Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will crucify you all.’ They said: ‘For us, We are but sent back unto our Lord: But thou dost wreak thy vengeance on us simply because we believed in the Signs of our Lord when they reached us! Our Lord! pour out on us patience and constancy, and take our souls unto Thee as Muslims (who bow to Thy Will)!’" S. 7:103-126

And there you have it.

I dont know how gog and magog have anything to do with this. Thorkarnain imprisoned them a very, very long time ago, so i dont see how they are relevant to this topic.

theqman, how is it that you so easily deny sorcery and black magic when the quran clearly speaks of it? you are correct by advising our Muslim brother not to waste his time, efforts, and money on it; but still, it exists.

Look there is no black magic. Your love to your wife will hold you two together. This magic is nonsense sseriously why do people sit in the shackles of superstition. Look just stay away from your spiteful family and enjoy your life in peace. Do not waste your time or money on pseudo science my brother. Your power within to determine your own fate with or without the Quran will help you
