Don't worry about Islam right now. You need to be in a safe and positive environment where you can love yourself before you can focus on religion. They are emotionally abusing you, do not let them win. Magic is not real. Do not worry about it, they cannot control you. You are the one who determines your fate. That is the gift Allah has bestowed upon us.... CHOICE! So live in depression all your life in the shackles of your "family" or use the power you possess!

I don't understand what you mean by 'live in depression all your life in the shackles of your "family" or use the power you possess!'

This is not an acceptable answer according to Islam.

You need to take control of your life, and don't let 'em get to you. theqman's right, YOU'RE the one who chooses who you are, what you are and what you will be. Also, if they're doing black magic, then they're going against Islam, so you should feel no obligation to listen to them, and should leave, if need be. Just remember to pray when you can, and Allah will help you.

how old are you? you use the term mum, so are you in the UK? if so i'm sure there is a department of child services, although it may be called something different? if you go to a non-islamic school ask a teacher. tell them you feel you are being emotionally abused at home and explain the situation to them. good to hear you don't believe in magic. i myself was cursed by a muslim from this very site back in september and i've been just fine.

Recite Quran for it is a sword against black magic. The evil jinn can't do a thing! Do this:

Ayat-ul-kursi [2:255] before sleeping so a safety angel is appointed at night to protect from these jinns.

And Surah 114 and Surah 113 should be recited during day. Before sleeping recite these along with the above verse. You should know why I say Surah 113 and Surah 114 for you need to understand the ingredients of the medicine:

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah), the Lord of the daybreak, (1) "From the evil of what He has created, (2) "And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness, (or the moon as it sets or goes away), (3) "And from the evil of those who practise witchcraft when they blow in the knots, (4) "And from the evil of the envier when he envies." (5) [113]

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind, (1) "The King of mankind - (2) "The Ilah (God) of mankind, (3) "From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah). (4) "Who whispers in the breasts of mankind. (5) "Of jinn and men." (6) [114]

And always remember:

*O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you avoid justice; and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do**.

(An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #135)

Jazakallah Khair

Salaam dearest sister, Bismillah AlRahman AlRaheem Do not despair. Have patience and Ask for Allah Al Wudoods Help. Do not abandon your Kith and Kin as it is against Allahs commands, but you do not need to spend any time with them more then what is needed. If possible try to make them understand right from wrong. And again try to not be around them so much until they change. Keep your life occupied with positive things and become distant mentally from them unless they treat you with fairness and kindness. If they are physically harming you and keeping you away from Prayer and Zakat, then perhaps Allah will grant you a way that you will not have to share a living space with them. Forgiveness is best. Forgive them and it is better for you and them. Hatred is just fuel for fire. As for black magic, it is real as Allahs words, the Glorious Qur'an says so. Allah prescribed for us a protection through Surat 113 and 114. Read them with sincerity.
