So I am a christian well was a christian who is studying up on Islam looking to convert. So far Nothing really seems to be unreasonable or unlogical in Islam. I mean yes since I did not grow up muslim a few things seem a bit strange to me but i can understand the purposes for them and they make sense. However in chrsitianity of course to break away from the Catholic Church we had to say we didnt believe in faith by works because thats like the main difference. But if that were true why does it say in the bible 2 Corinthians 5:10 ESV "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil." The actual meaning of this verse may be that its if you are a christian you would go to heaven that would be your reward or not and hell would be the reward; however, my church and school interprets verses like this to mean that if you are a better christian then you would recieve more in heaven that its not equal. And then my pastor contridicts himself by saying that no one is a better christian then the other. So im just confused because if there are better christians then others what seperates us from the catholics because it would be like if you do more works you get into a better heaven. That honestly makes more sense then being in the same heaven at the same level with a murderer who said some words on his death bed compared to a saint. But everything in the church now is a way to make money at least where I am from. I think the churches are almost more unGodly then anything because most of it appears to be making money that goes only to the pastor and not to help the church or community. The churches seem too corrupt and I tried to look at chrisitanity as just the religion and not within the church but chrisitantiy is about the church and other chrisitains along with following christ. Basically Christianity seems very screwed up to me; however Islam seems to keep order. And then i heard about christianity had to be made according the the governments laws when it was created and such and the more I thought about that the more it seemed as though that could have happened. The one thing I find hard to understand in Islam is the view on the crucifixion so if someone could help explain that it would be very helpful. Also the things ive heard about "the black stone" I do not understand it could come off as an idol or relic.

Salaam Insha allah I will be able to provide some information and facts dealing with your question. And Creator willing give you the answers you seek. I am going to start out with a bible verse Deuteronomy 24:16 The father shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall the children be put to death for their father ; a person shall be put to death for his own sins . jeremiah 31:30, But everyone shall die for his own iniquity.
Ezekeil 18:20 , The soul that sinneth , it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the son ; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him , and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
These verses here plainly tell us we are responsible for our own sins. lets continue
Here is the question Meg asked and insha allah I will answer , did Yahshua the Hebrew Messiah die on the cross? Also What does it mean if he did not'? It is a fact that the crucifixion happened For Allah Azza wa jall has stated in the Qur'an
4: 157-158 And because of their saying in boast , we killed Messiah (yahshua) son of Mary, the messenger Of Allah , but they killed him not, nor crucified him , but the resemblance of him was put over another man and they killed that man, and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no certain knowledge , they follow nothing but conjecture . For surely ; they killed him not . But Allah raised him up unto himself . And Allah is ever powerful , All wise.
Now Beloved I could go into this way deeper for you here but this is All in the book I sent you . Page 193 It Is very important you read the facts there . If you have any more questions ask me and if you want to study it together I'm here you still have my email address . Salaam !
