Assalamu Alaykum,

Narrated Aisha:

On the day (of the battle) of Uhud when the pagans were defeated, Satan shouted, "O slaves of Allah! Beware of the forces at your back," and on that the Muslims of the front files fought with the Muslims of the back files (thinking they were pagans). Hudhaifa looked back to see his father "Al-Yaman," (being attacked by the Muslims). He shouted, "O Allah's Slaves! My father! My father1 By Allah, they did not stop till they killed him. Hudhaifa said, "May Allah forgive you." Urwa said that Hudhaifa continued to do good (invoking Allah to forgive the killer of his father till he met Allah (i.e. died).

(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Hadith 510)

EXPLANATION:

  • The Muslims in the front were blinded by what Shaytan (Devil) had said that they thought that the pagans were actually behind them also. So they killed their Muslim brother having mistaken them for pagan.

  • Also Hudhaifa prayed to Allah to forgive his Muslims brothers who killed is father. So Allah might have forgiven and showed mercy to the Muslims (these Muslims did not have the intention of killing their brothers but had the intention of killing the pagans). So only Allah knows if they are in Hell or Heaven, as if they had the intention to kill their Muslim brothers purposes then they would be in Hell but this is not the case only Allah knows.

May Allah,

Assalamu Alaykum,

Narrated Al-Anhaf bin Qais:

I wen to help that man (i.e. Ali), and on the way I met Abu Bakra who asked me, "Where are you going?" I replied, "I am going to help than man." He said, "Go back, for I heard Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) saying, "If two Muslims meet each other with their swords then (both) the killer and the killed one are in the (Hell) Fire." I said, "O Allah's Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! it is alright for the killer, but what about the killed one?" He said, "The killed one was eager to kill his opponent."

(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 83, Hadith 14)

EXPLANATION:

  • Both the Muslims will enter Jahannam (Hell Fire) for both had the intention to kill each other.

ADVICE:

  • Only Allah alone knows how long a person will be punished in Jahannam (Hell Fire).

  • Both Muslims will go to Hell-Fire (Jahannam) because both of them will have the intention to kill each other. It all comes down to the intention of a Muslim to kill or not kill a Muslim. If

  • A Muslim cannot kill another Muslim for any reason. But if a Muslim (who had the intention to kill another Muslim) killed a Muslim (this Muslim (victim) who does not have the intention to kill another Muslim, but says "La Ilah Illallah Muhammadur Rasulallah" (There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah" at the time of his death) the Muslim who is the victim will go to Jannah (Heaven). The Muslim (murderer) will go to Hell-Fire (Jahannam).

@ninjablack666 I was gonna post a question about this topic. Ok tell me about battle of camel where Muslims fought with Muslims. Would the be in hell or heaven. According to hadith, they supposed to be in hell.

Imagine if hazrat Ali ra would have died in this battle then what? I utterly believe he would be in heaven and hazrat aisha ra as well. But what about the 18000 Muslims who died. Would they be in hell or heaven according g to Islam ?
