We know Islam is the one and only true religion. Others were created by humans. I heard a bit about that but what I want to know is how did christianity began?
They mistook Jesus (pbuh) signs that were the powers of God. They thought him treating leprosy, resurrecting the dead, dying for their sins etc made him a god to name a few. And they don't read their bible is another problem because it clearly says to worship one Allah:
They THOUGHT but he never claimed divinity. And plus the Jews corrupted the bible as well with their fairy tales e.g.
These things they conceal as Allah rightfully says in the Quran:
website: http://www.answering-christianity.com/ac.htm (full of rebuttals and lies of christians)
They have faith beyond logic so they can't see the truth. ENDQUOTE
As far as my knowledge goes about other religious scriptures, the Holy Quran explicitly states there will be no religion other than Islam accepted from him:
PS: this is not for hurting any christians feelings nor do I envy them personally. But truth is truth and that is what has been told.
35 Shall We then treat the Muslims (believers of Islamic Monotheism, doers of righteous deeds) like the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists and disbelievers, etc.)?
36 What is the matter with you? How judge you?
37 Or have you a Book wherein you learn,
38 That you shall therein have all that you choose?
39 Or have you oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection, that yours will be what you judge?
40 Ask them, which of them will stand surety for that!
And now, with all that said, let's finally answer the question:
Christianity was not founded after Islam. Jesus lived 600 years earlier than Muhammad.
He was a Jewish preacher and said to be the Messiah, the promised savior of the Jewish people.
But he was different than the Jews expected the Messiah to be. They expected a normal human being, a strong political leader, but not somebody who would call himself the "Son of God" (be careful: Muslims tend to misunderstand that: It's not meant literally!). But still some people started to believe that he is the true Messiah. Not only Jews. They were called the Christians.
There were many before and after him who said to be the Messiah (al-masih), but he's obviously the only one of them with a lasting effect.
