I seek Allahs forgiveness by offering salat o tauba and reciting astaghfirullah.sometimes I am content but sometimes I really feel extremely depressed. Kindly guide me now how we come to know that our tauba has been accepted by Allah? I love Allah tala and I want him to be happy from me. I want to be in jannah.

Asalamualykom,

Dw sister, May Allah SWT forgive the sins of all Muslims :)

None of us is free from sin. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Every son of Adam is a sinner, and the best of sinners are those who turn (to Allah) in repentance.” (At-Thirmidhi & Ibn Majah)

First, you need to admit your guilt. Second, you must intend to not to do the same sin. Third, you need to keep repenting to Allah, for the sins in general, for all humans commit sins always and to be certain that He hears you.

Allah Almighty says: {And your Lord says: Call upon Me, I will answer you} (40:60)

Allah Almighty says:

{Say: O my servants! who have acted extravagantly against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah; surely Allah forgives the faults altogether; surely He is the Forgiving the Merciful.} (39:53)

So, it's very important to know that Allah Almighty is The Most Merciful and His mercy is even greater than the mercy of a mother towards her own child. Allah Almighty doesn't want to punish us for no reason. He called Himself At-Tawwab, The Most Forgiving, so when you repent you need to be absolutely certain that you have been forgiven of your sins.

In Shaa Allah, your sins will be forgiven, just keep repenting and don't do haraam.

Wasalamualaykom :)

Repent sincerely and he will forgive.

Someone committed a sin and then said: “O Allah! Forgive me my sin.”

Allah said: “My servant committed a sin, but knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes sins.”

Then he committed the sin again and said: “My Lord! Forgive me my sin.”

Allah said: “My servant committed a sin, but knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes sins.”

Then he committed the sin again and said: “My Lord! Forgive me my sin.”

Allah said: “My servant committed a sin, but knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes sins. Do as you will, for I have forgiven you.”
