Assalamu alaikoum to all brothers and sisters. When performing swalaat, should we keep our eyes open or can we close our eyes. I noticed that I can concentrate better when closing the eyes. I have heard that the eyes should be kept open and fix a certain point on the ground. I want to confirm this. Jazak Allah.

During Salaat(Namaz) you are not allowed to close your eyes, but if you are having problem in concentrating in Salaat(Namaz) then you can close your eyes for concentration. But it will be good that you don't close your eyes.
