I am a Sunni Muslim. I have many friends who share different faiths. They are of-course unaware of the truth i.e. Islam. Though i have managed to help few of them to understand our faith... I would say they will convert only if they had a lesser knowledge about their own religion. Every religion exists because they have strong fundamentals. The religion is created in a way that there are no loop holes. And also if he is born into that religion he will of course find a way to believe in it. I have a friend who belongs to “AHMADIYYA" or the "QUADIANI".. They believe by their own proofs that Jesus (pbuh) has already come and by his "khalifas" they are in the process of creating peace. Though it sounds stupid they believe this and many Muslims are converting to ahmadi everyday!! I have done a detailed research about them. They have strong and convincing views but are blinded by many explanations. I have tried my best to convince him but its no use. A person born into ahmadi has every explanation for what they believe and it is impossible to convert a knowledgeable ahmadi. But my question is that, what is their mistake in this? When they discover that they were believing wrong when Jesus(pbuh) descends, imagine what a shock they will be in! All their life they were living believing they were Muslims, fasting in ramzan, doing namaz, duas, making sacrifices! But they are innocent, blinded by their preachers. Same applies for Christians; they believe their faith is truth. Why should they deserve such a fate? How does Allah give justice to those innocent non-muslims?

Actually, you are wrong about there being no loopholes. There are plenty of loopholes in their religions- from contradictions (both internal and external) to inconsistencies to irrationalities. أفلا يتدبرون القرآن ولو كان من عند غير الله لوجدوا فيه اختلافا كثيرا .. (If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction). Alhamdulillah. And this is not the case with Islam. Our religion is completed, the Qur'an is perfect and preserved.

Furthermore, the Qur'an/Sunnah refutes Qadianis (and all other religions/groups). So it is upon them to accept the truth when it comes to them (and many of them do - Alhamdulillah) and submit to Allah سبحانه و تعالى completely. Genuine ignorance is excused, but willful ignorance or rejection of the truth is not acceptable. And you can not use the fact that you were raised upon falsehood to continue following falsehood. وإذا قيل لهم اتبعوا ما أنزل الله قالوا بل نتبع ما ألفينا عليه آباءنا أولو كان آباؤهم لا يعقلون شيئا ولا يهتدون (When it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing." Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided).

Allah سبحانه و تعالى gave plenty of proof and signs. If people open their hearts to the truth and are sincere in seeking knowledge (as opposed to following their "roots"), Allah سبحانه و تعالى will guide them. But if they choose to remain stubborn/arrogant, then Allah سبحانه و تعالى will increase them in that (disbelief).
