Should we put our hands or knees first on the ground while sujud? I want an obvious answer, Jhazakum Allah 5airan |

Salam, The Prophet [saw] have said when your in Salah and your going down on sajda do not go down like the camel. Based on this Hadith in Bukhari the scholars have said that when going down on sajda your hands must touch the ground first and then your knees. The reason for this is that when the camel is siting down he goes down with his knees first and the hadith says do not sit like the camel when going down on prostration. Allah knows best. |
