[3:195] Their Lord responded to them: "I never fail to reward any worker among you for any work you do, be you male or female - "you are equal to one another". Thus, those who immigrate, and get evicted from their homes, and are persecuted because of Me, and fight and get killed, I will surely remit their sins and admit them into gardens with flowing streams." Such is the reward from GOD. GOD possesses the ultimate reward.

hope u see what i meant

what translation are you using? i just read two and they say: "you are of one another" and "one is from the other". no 'equal' in there. what is the arabic word for equal?

anyway, clearly men and women are not equal in islam. a woman needs her wali's approval to marry. does a man need someone elses approval to wed? surely you know 4:11. can a woman be an iman? can a woman lead men in pray? can a woman be caliph?

hope you see what i mean.

Yes its not equality its justice which a misconception even amongst muslims. Regardless of man or woman they will get get justice in the hereafter and if a woman is more pious she can be in the higher rank of jannah than man. This different reatment shows that Allah appreciates the chemistry of each gender and thus assigns different duties for each , of course there is similarity in roles as well in some (if not many) aspects.

Both genders can get to jannat e firdous thus there is no question of inquality. Each gender does its duties and ihe/she can reach that rank of jannah.

There is hijab for men like it is for woman but it has different requirements. These requirements are based on gender.
