Aslam Alikum To my brothers and sister. I saw something strange while searching 666 (Satan verse In bible) they made something strange out with our ALLAH name... they made out something with greek, anyone can help on this. can some one help me on this topic with researching on it ... because I don't have this much knowledge on Islam ... [I went on google typed 666 then searched went to images and I found those troubling images :/]

It is not a big deal. And it is easily refuted.

  • The word 'Allah' does not resemble the middle character much (in the 666 Greek word 'picture' that they use). Plus, they arbitrarily (and randomly) drew two pictures at the sides (of swords) to make it seem like it matches the Greek word for Satan. But - there are no such symbols in Islam. So basically - they completely made it up. This is an example of how Christians try to twist and use flimsy arguments against Islam because they have no logical arguments against our superior, logical religion. Alhamdulillah.

  • Arab Christians also use the word 'Allah' when referring to the One God. Because this is His name as well as being the Arabic word for God. So they would be saying that their Arab Christian brothers worship Satan. Which is not the case. And it is not the case with Muslims either. The fact is, Muslims, Christians and Jews worship the same God. (Christians and Jews just associate partners with Him). Astaghfirullah.

ولا تجادلوا أهل الكتاب إلا بالتي هي أحسن إلا الذين ظلموا منهم وقولوا آمنا بالذي أنزل إلينا وأنزل إليكم وإلهنا وإلهكم واحد ونحن له مسلمون ( not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.") - Qur'an 29:46.

Only a minority of Christians try to ‘twist and use flimsy arguments against Islam.’ And I believe it was Walid Shoebat who suggested the swords.

**Christian missionaries.

Exactly, a minority. The ones to watch out for are the Christian Zionists - the John Hagee's of this world. These preach real hatred against Islam.....oh, and against the Catholic Church too...but that's another story.

LOL. Mike...Mike.You are what my Dad and others of that time would call a 'Boy and a half'...meaning a real character...someone you could like and respect, even though you might disagree with almost all they said...even though you might regard them (at times) as pain in the backside! You have a good day now.

ok, i'll take that as a compliment. even though, here in the south if you call someone 'boy' it's a real insult. lol. anyway, yesterday after you mentioned hagee i saw he was on tv. so after gordan ramsey's kitchen nigthmares, i flipped over to him. i could only take about 10 minutes but i think you would have liked it. "the deception of sin" was the sermon. on and on about the human secularists and the decline of america because there is no prayer in schools. that 75% of americans say there is no absolute truth. but of course god is an absolute truth. he sounded downright islamic. looks like

he will be on your side of the pond here shortly. westminster chapel on the 20th and 21st. good oppurtunity for a martyrdom operation. ;)

It's a sort of compliment...but the true meaning is not easily conveyed to someone outside of the culture of that day. a young collier I once called an older collier 'boy'. Got pinned against the coalface...and reminded that only a man could call another man by that name. Strange place...South Wales!

just don't take believe their rubbish and baseless accusations, there are some crazy people really obsessed with this 666 number that everything appears to be 666 to them. they probably make 666 out of your name no matter how and say you're name is after the great beast 666 lol. you must have seen how they make 666 out of Allah swt name, that's totality wrong to translate parts of other languages into English numbers because there are thousands and thousands of languages on earth and we can make satan out of everything that is written on a peace of paper if we go through their devilish logic.

so please don't take them seriously even for a minute because they can play with every single name on earth and make 666 out of it.I hope this helped, May Allah save you from their lies and deception and make your faith and stronger and make you steadfast on his religion and make it easy on you. As'salam Alaykum.

As-salamu alaykum.

The Book of Revelation was written at a time when the early church was under great persecution at the hands of the Romans. The style of writing is known as apocalyptic, and is intended to improve the morale of its readers, by assuring them - in very imaginative language - that no matter how bad their present time might be, the future was bound to be better. ‘God’ would intervene to destroy evil and bring peace and happiness to his people.

The book was written during the reign of the Roman Emperor Nero, and it is most likely that the Mark of the Beast (666) was a coded reference to him.

The author of Revelation was not referring to what is now called the ‘End of Days’. However, many suppose that he was, and waste no time in looking for people, or for organisations, on which to pin the 666 ‘Mark of the Beast’ badge.

It has been pinned on Hitler; on the Roman Catholic Church; on President Obama; on Russia and her ‘allies’ against Israel; on the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam); and on Allah (Subḥānahu ūta'āla).

This is a nonsense, so please don’t worry about it.

are you saying that the computer isn't the beast and that barcodes aren't his mark. how about computer chips that they are implanting in pets right now. isn't that just a trial run. they will mark people in the future with them.

still no word on you participating in the scrum in the middle of the road? you going to side with your son against your daughters? keep those dirty kuffar in their place?

My son would step aside and allow his sisters to pass unhindered. He was brought up to respect others....especially his family. Heck...he would even step aside for YOU...out of respect for a man of your age!

man, it's like pulling teeth. finaly and answer. good to here they haven't driven all the western ideals from him. reminds me of the french guy who joined the mali jihadists. he was hardcore about getting sharia in place but then on one instance when his fellow muslis wanted to lash a woman, he stopped them.
