A Muslim Boy married a Christian Girl (non-Muslim) and invited me to attend the ceremony and Walima. I denied. Please explain if it is permissible or not.

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

The Islamic view is that we should accept wedding invitations from Muslims and go to the wedding party. There are ahadith (Bukhari/Muslim) which say that whoever rejects the invitation (to a Muslim's wedding) has disobeyed Allah سبحانه و تعالى and His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم. If you do not have a valid reason to reject (e.g there will be evil there, etc), then you should go, my dear brother. Your fellow Muslim brother is getting married and to a woman who is permissible for him to get married to (by Shari'a).
