Allah سبحانه و تعالى sent the Qur'an down in Arabic. He said: إنا أنزلناه قرآنا عربيا لعلكم تعقلون (Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand). When we say 'Qur'an' then we are referring to the original Arabic. Word of Allah سبحانه و تعالى . When it is interpreted into another language (English, etc), then it is not the Qur'an, but a human interpretation of the Qur'an (which tells you the general meaning). It is fine to read such interpretations.. but it is important to remember that humans use different synonyms/syntax, etc). Everyone agrees that it is best to learn Qur'anic Arabic and understand the word of your Creator in its perfect, original form.

Thank you for your question.

Yes sister you can give her a translation of the meanings if the Quran. If you do so, you will also be rewarded inshaAllah for spreading the religion of Allah!

In fact by doing this act, you could be rewarded tremendously by Allah.
