Know this hadith:

The Prophet sallallahu alaihe wasallam has stated, "Marriage is the basis for blessings and children are an abundance of mercy."

i hope you got a follow up to our link. because that said nothing, other than you can't sterilize your self permenantly. so what methods are 'approved by Shariah'. or whatever it said. it didn't list anything. rhythm method, condoms, spermicide? iud? or the old school, pull and pray. which is allowed according to the hadith on coitus interruptus.

paul, did you see abdul's link. it says celibacy is not allowed? you may be misleaded that poor woman who doesn't like sex?

Good to see same old same old.

I really don't mind just don't use offensive language. I will keep the proof.

what language?

Mike.

Since sex is deemed to be an essential part of marriage, for those who are capable of performing it, anyone who does not wish to have sex...not at all...not to anyone (such as the young lady you refer to) had better remain single....at least for as long as they feel this way.

As for brother Abdul's link: The context here is that celibacy is forbidden when it's sole purpose is the avoidance of children.

so not having sex is not an acceptable form of birth control? that might be the funniest thing i've ever heard.

don't you think that woman was already married? obviously she has had sex, or how does she know she doesn't like it. anyway, much like on that question, is anyone going to give an actual answer. so, all we know now is that surgical sterilization is not allowed. and now celibacy is not allowed. so what is allowed? anything? 'temporary' celibacy? can the guy take a few nights off every month? hopefully timed with his old ladies ovulation? condoms? spemicide? can he hit the hot tub?
