Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth exalts Allah , and He is al-Azeez (the Exalted in Might), al-Hakeem (the Wise).

As in this ayah from Surat as-Saf (Quran 61:1), "al-Azeez" is used to refer to the Might of Allah; as one of the 99 names of Allah it is often translated to "The Exalted in Might" or "The Almighty". "Abdul-Azeez" literally means "Servant of al-Azeez" (i.e., "Servant of the Almighty").

"Farooq" is a person who can distinguish right from wrong. It is derived from the Arabic root F-R-Q (to divide or separate), the same root used for "al-Furqaan" in Surat al-Furqaan (Quran 25:1):

Blessed is He who sent down al-Furqaan (the Criterion [between right and wrong]) upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner
