I want to know if allah or his teachings promote rape or killing as a punishment for anything? I have heard that rape and death are visited upon people who run away from their familys, especially women. |

Firstly, a Muslim woman would not run away with a Non-Muslim. If she did though, their parents could never "take the law into their own hands", as in the Islamic Shariah, this would cause Public disorder. So your implication of "honor killings", has nothing to do with Islam. |

As for rape, in Islam, anyone who rapes a woman would get the death penalty. |

I have heard that muslim and islam are very harsh, especially on women. If I were a woman in one of these cultures and I fell in love with a german man who was a catholic amd I wanted to move in with him in germany, what would my family do? What if I was pregnant with his child and we were planning on keeping it and raising it atheist? |
