I dont understand why simply washing with soap or using antibacterial sanitizer wont clean a dogs saliva. Can someone help me understand this better please? |

Salam, The reason why the Prophet [saw] have said to use the dirt is because the dirt has and is made of anti bacterial and kills all infections and the anti bacterial we have today and use it for our houses is made from the dirt. Based on this you can use like washing up liquid and a similar disinfection's when a dog mouth touches the plates and cups. This also proves that the Prophet [saw] was a truly a Prophet from Allah as he knew this when none of all the rest of the people knew about it and it is only recently they discovered this. |

you dont need to clean your self with dirt if a dog licks you you only have to cleane something you eat or drink from that a dog hase eaten or drank from seven times one time with dert |

no you need to clean you self if a dog licks you it dosent necissarily need to be with dirt but you have to clean yourself otherwise you cannot pray dogs saliva is nijs It doesn't?
