True sufism is asserted from the teachings of the prophet learning and applying of the prophet s.a.w. and when some of these saints who came in the generation after when islam had spread to the four corners ther were people who wer just trying to reach Allah and when they did they felt such an ectasy that overwelm them but that generation had changed over time Yes satanic elements have mixed in and knoledge decrease first. All though ther are many sects anyone knows that first we are not to judge anybody because of ther intention in this matter because its technical But my brothers the best way and the safe way is to follow the life style of our nabi s.a.w inwardly n outwardly .Applying his dress manners and love for all with wisdom and thats mastering n remembering the quran THE END . Those sects groups other religions of the world will come slowly to an end.light or noor of islam cannot mix with darkness. As the prophet s.a.w has mentioned hold fast to my sunnah and the quran.

My brothers first of all you do not have the true knowledge or insight of what is sufi and its main intention is.Let shed some light just read the biography of abdul qadir gilany or junaid bagdad. The point is at that time islam was strong and every now and then allah sends pious people to reform and call them back to àAllah.Ther way to seek god was different and unique but all to achieve its purpose and thats to get close to Allah. But today we our prophet and his is the best example to live work and have family in society we cant just star meditating doing zikr in the corner of the mosque all day we have to have balance im talking about the people are under old old age.So we have to have balance

I'm a little puzzled, brother:

Are you suggesting that zikr can be carried out only in a mosque?

This is the hadith most often cited by Sufi scholars as the best description of the path of Sufism:

Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) said:

"Allah said: 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine. And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him, then I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My Protection (Refuge), I will protect him (i.e., give him My Refuge); and I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to disappoint him." (Bukhari, 8.131: 6502. S).

Sufi is not a sect but it is the muslims who care about Ihsan. Sufi means clear or clean.. or chosen/selected.. it is also said that are heard sufi because they wear souf =wool.

Sufi and tasawouf is fighting the ego (controlling the nafs) and remembering Allah a lot so their spirit is clean enjoying the light of Allah.

From their characters that they do anything that will please Allah, including visiting graves of righteous people that Allah is pleased with them.. I never knew someone worshipping grave of them.. (also not all of them are correct/right groups).. but it is general.

and surely having a tomb or grave inside a mosque is not worng, as we know not only prophet Muhammad sala Allahou alayhi wa sallam is in the mosque/masjid el nabawi but also Abou Bakr and Omar ibn el khattab radiya Allahou anhoum are also in the mosque.. and this is the 2nd holy mosque for Muslim after kaaba.. nobody that I know is worshipping prophet Muhammad (SAAWS).

The sufis are people who worship graves, dance and sing, call upon saints and prophets and their shuyookh. They engage in bid'ah and believe in wahdat ul wujood (believing that the creator and the creation are one)
