it is ok to say cheer and touch a soft drink glasses by saying cheers?

1	Salam, it would be better not to do this because as we know non-muslims do this while drinking wine. So it isn't good to do it. But if your intention isn't to be similar to non-muslims, just to have fun and your drink is halal then it is fine. Wa Allah a'lam

Our way , before we begin to do anything, whether it is to drink, eat, talk or work is to recite Bismillahirahmannirahim. Doing so would make that act of ours blessed by Allah - this is Allah's promise, according to a hadith. Another hadith states that commencing any work without this recitation keeps that work unblessed.
