Can anyone recommend a good English translation of the Holy Qur'an? I do not know any Arabic. I have the "English Translation of the Holy Quran with Commentary by Maulana Muhammad Ali." The footnotes are longer than the Book. It seems Arabic does not translate well into English. I'm concerned I may be missing some important aspects of the faith

sorry, I don't have any recommendation...

if you want the perfect translation of Al-Qur'an, I suggest you to learn arabic language, so you can read Al-Qur'an in it's original text, just like Dr. Maurice Bucaille did...
