Can someone tell me about Jinn? Specifically,

  1. Can Jinn be seen by humans?
  2. Can Jinn change their form(to look like a human or animal)?
  3. Can Jinn harm humans?
  4. How can one protect himself from Jinn, if they can harm humans?
  5. Can Jinn possess humans?

What gives you the feeling of that kind you need to express, If you are sure you are not hallucinating? May be there are other reasons for the way you are feeling.

I see a black figure in my house. It's not a human shape, it looks like a large shadow but in the air, not against a surface. I cannot see through it. I have also seen things moving in the house and sometimes things being thrown and broken. Sometimes I hear just one phrase like 'look' or 'turn around'. Lights and television turn on and off but not at the same time. My husband and my oldest daughter have seen this too. I've never felt afraid, I just feel like it's a roommate. Christian beliefs are very different regarding this type of thing, but I don't believe Christians are right about this.

Perhaps you might consider that it might be a soul?

@Al Ummat The idea of soul in Christianity varies GREATLY from one denomination to another. I am not familiar with the Islamic idea of soul other than it is immortal. I thought when you die Allah stores your soul somewhere until the judgement. If so, why would a soul be in my home? Maybe I need to ask a new question?

sure you can, but I will tell you that someone tolled me that the soul is able to wander the earth until the day of Judgement. Also I will like to ask you to post 3 new questions for questions number 1 , 4 , and 5 because they can go even deeper If you want. Now the soul, it might be good to post a question about that.
