Is it ok for women to visit the graveyard?

i want to visit my mothers grave which is in a public graveyard.......i want to know wheather it is permitted in islam ...plzz gv me references of answers

 Women are permitted to visit graves with the CONDITION that their keep self-control and do not indulge in wailing, and the intention should be to remember Hereafter.(Sahih Bokhari, Book of funerals - 1571). Another hadith states that visiting graves should be occasional.
