The best answer I can give is what Allah said in the holy Quran in Surat Al Baqara aya 120 [2:120] [And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say,"Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance." If you wereto follow their desires after whathas come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper.]

I don't think most people do hate Islam. It's only one or two western governments media and a few intellectuals who hate it, mainly because they hate any threat to their power.

Marcello has a point. They are aware of the power of Muslims - Islamic history makes them shiver of the day when this realization comes to the Muslims of what Muslims are capable of. Unfortunately, the Muslims are sleeping, rather they have been put to sleep, by injecting in them the viral for diluting their emman(faith) and making them move away and away from the STRAIGHT PATH ordained by Allah. And, where they find Muslims trying to wake up, they 'create situations', get together and do what they did starting with Afghanistan.
Muslims need to wake up, wake up to Allah's Commands, hold on to Quran and sunnah and stick to its teaching in the way which makes them true Muslims. Muslims must first put their house in order to, enforce sharia, unite and form into UMMAH. Doing so would make them eligible to Allah's help and

success will follow in every field, INSHA'ALLAH.
