Assalamu alaikum,a friend of mine is muslim and he slept with a his girlfriend so I told him that it is haram to do that, I talked to him until he said he won't do it again. So he wants to repent to ALLAH(S.W.T). How Should he repent? |

Salam, from what you have said, I think that your friend didn't know that he made zina and it is haram. So he must ask Allah for forgiveness and leave this girl and any other girl. He must regret about what he had done. Tell him to be close to Allah and read Quran. If he had known that zina is haram and he made it and slept with this girl so he must accept the punishment of zina before marrige(100 lashes) if he admit or there were 4 witnesses so that Allah would accep his repentance. Allah said in surat Al Nur aya 2 [The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried] man found guilty of sexual intercourse - lash each one of them with a hundred lashes, and do not be taken by pity for them in the religion of Allah , if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment] Wa Allah a'lam |
