Salaamu Alaikum. I just took my Shahada last week. I was born raised Catholic and was really never spiritually satisfied. I was lucky to find my fiance who took the time and patience to teach me and read the Qu'ran to me. I just started to read the Surahs on my own. I now have a closer bond with my fiance now that we share the same religion and we are getting married in the very near future. Insha Allah

My questions is is there a special website just for women who took the Shahada that speaks about how to make gushu (sorry for the spelling) baths on Fridays and other thing I should now immediately after taking the Shahada?

Thank you so much.

Assalamu alaikum. I'm not sure about a website but here are a couple of hadith.

Narrated Maimuna: Water was placed for the ablution of Allah's Apostle after Janaba. He poured water with his right hand over his left twice or thrice and then washed his private parts and rubbed his hand on the earth or on a wall twice or thrice and then rinsed his mouth, washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out and then washed his face and forearms and poured water over his head and washed his body. Then he shifted from that place and washed his feet. I brought a piece of cloth, but he did not take it and removed the traces of water from his body with his hand." (Sahih al-Bukhari 274)

It was narrated that Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon him), said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman with tightly braided hair; should I undo it when performing Ghusl from Janabah?' He said: 'No it is sufficient for you to pour three handfuls of water over your body.'" (Graded Sahih) An-Nasaa’i Arabic reference: Book 1, Hadith 243

So basically: 1- Intention to purify 2- Clean private parts 3- Take whudu 4- wash hair three tiems 5- wash the rest of the body.

Congratulations on your conversion and insha Allaah this was helpful.
