Many of my friends and all those who know me, comes to me when they have to open internet on their mobile or they have some problem in using internet. Most of them ask me to tell them the process to download songs, videos , movies and many more. I provide them the knowledge to download anything. But I think that since I have provided the knowledge to download songs, videos, movies so I also get involved in doing unIslamic work and doing sin. But If I dont do it, then they will think that he dont know, so not doing it. Is it permissible to provide such type of knowledge to other??
Myself is the only one in my village who knows these type of Internet works(CURRENTLY). |

It is not permissible for you to help them in downloading songs,videos and movies as Allaah Says: (Help you one another in virtue, righteousness and piety but do not help one another in sin and transgression.)[Quran 5:2] Therefore, I advise you to take the initiative to stop helping your friends in this work. You should rely on Allah and have trust in His great Favours and vast Mercy, and you should be certain that fearing Allah is a reason for getting an abundant provision for goodness...!! Allah Says: (And whoever fears Allaah — He will make for him a way out. And will provide for him from where he does not expect.}[Quran 65:2] so dont let your friends hurt or bother you that you dont know anything..as ALLAH knows your intentions and what you conceal in your heart and not your friends..inshAllah ALLAH will make a way out for you..:) and lastly why dont you tell them the consequences of listening to the songs and watching movies.?? I know its not easy but atleast you can give a try by making them understand..and then its up to them whether they quit doing this activity or continue it..!! and ALLAH KNOWS THE BEST..!! accept and vote my answer if helpful or you can even leave me with a feedback..!! |
