"Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Matthew 24:1-2 - fullfilled 70 A.D.

"Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. They shall be My people, and I will be their God; " Jeremiah 32:37-41 - fulfilled 1948 (israel becomes a nation) , Ezekiel 20:34 and ezekiel 36:33-35 speak of the same thing. (much more prophecies for that though from DIFFERENT PROPHETS of the Bible)

"Those who come He shall cause to take root in Jacob;Israel shall blossom and bud,And fill the face of the world with fruit." Isaiah 27:6 (Israel is the largest agricultural exporter of fruits and vegetable. Before the formation in 1948 nothing grew on that soil which is why nobody bothered to use it. Half of the land is desert, the climate and lack of water doesnt favor farming but obviously Bible prophecy shows nothing is impossible if God does it.)

"And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. " Zechariah 12:3 (should I go any further? It's easy to tell that everyone is turning against Israel, even America."

Psalm 83; They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” (there is more to this verse but I do not want to give incomplete information. But despite, it is easy to see that the middle east wants israel destroyed.. Other battle verses are Ezekiel 38)

Revelation 9:16 "Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them"

What country in the world is capable of having an army that large? none except China. As we know China hates Israel and is supplying Iran with weapons....

Read Isaiah 19. The scripture speaks that God will restore Egypt, the Egyptians and Assyrians will then make Christ their God and worship Him along with the Israel.

please, I recommend that you would look into the archaeology of the bible and manuscripts as well. Of the Bible the New Testament alone has over 25,000 with 98% accuracy, the other percentage is grammar mistakes. Muslims claim that Christians have corrupted the Bible but how can that be? The discovery of the "dead sea scrolls" reveals that the Bible today is the same text as written on the scrolls, therefore no corruption of the original text. The archaeology for the bible is overwhelming and only 1 % of it has been discovered.I challenge you to compare archaeology, manuscripts and prophecies in the koran that have happened in the past years like the bible has. The only way to test for truth is to provide the evidence. Repent and ask Jesus for forgiveness.

First of all, I can not read all the debate because its totally off the topic. The topic is about the Prophecies of Jesus Christ and Authenticity of Bible and not whether The Prophet of Islam (S.A.W) is the messenger of Allah (GOD) or not.

So I want to remain on topic.

@ Makariz

Are these your only evidences?

You said: (should I go any further? It's easy to tell that everyone is turning against Israel, even America.)

Answer: I think you don't have eye on World Affairs. United States was the first country in the world to recognize Israel.

check here: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Peace/recogIsrael.html

Even today, America is the puppet of Israel.

You said: What country in the world is capable of having an army that large? none except China. As we know China hates Israel and is supplying Iran with weapons....

and you quoted the figure of two hundred million.

Answer: your provided figure is 100 times the present army of China.

Now about the authenticity of the present Bible which have multiple versions, every year Christians published a new version of bible.

Do you know when was the Bible first written?

let me tell you after 400 years.

Do you know in which language the Bible was revealed?

It was Hebrew . And today no one in this World knows Hebrew, and what the Christians have is the translation. And translation is not enough. So you can not say its the Holy Bible revealed by God but rather you have the translation of Holy Bible. And the original manuscripts have been lost. Don't you see the documentaries made by Christians? I advice you to do some research so that you will know that Christian Researchers are searching for the original Hebrew bible.

Now what about the Scientific Errors and Contradictions in Bible. If you call it the Word of God.

Give me Answers of some questions and then we will talk more.

  1. Bible says in Genesis Ch. No. 1 Verses No. 3 and 5,…‘Light was created on the first day.’ Genesis, Ch., 1 Verses, 14 to 19… ‘The cause of light - stars and the sun, etc. was created on the fourth day’. How can the cause of light be created on the 4th day - later than the light which came into existence on the first day? - It is unscientific.

  2. Further, the, Bible says Genesis, Ch. 1, Verses 9 to 13… ‘Earth was created on the 3rd day. How can you have a night and day without the earth ? The day depends upon the rotation of the Earth Without the earth created, how can you have a night and day?

  3. Genesis, Ch. No. 1 Verses 9 to 13 says… ‘Earth was created on the third day.’ Genesis Ch. No. 1 Verses 14 to 19 says…‘The Sun and the Moon were created on the fourth day.’ Today science tells us… ‘Earth is part of the parent body… the sun.’ It cannot come into existence before the sun – It is unscientific.

  4. The Bible says in Genesis, Ch. No.1, Verse No. 11 to 13…‘The vegetation, the herbs the shrubs, the trees - they were created on the 3rd day And the Sun, Genesis, Ch. No. 1, Verses. 14 to 19, was created on the 4th day. How can the vegetation come into existence without sunlight, and how can they survive without sunlight ?

  5. Further, if we read, in Ezra Ch. No. 2, Verse No. 65, it says…There were 200 singing men and women - Nehemiah Ch. No. 7, Verse No. 67…‘There were 245 singing men and women.’ Were they 200 - or were they 245 singing men and women? Context is the same - A mathematical contradiction.

  6. Further, it is mentioned in the 1st Kings, Ch. No 7, Verse No 26, that…‘In Solomon’s temple, in his molten sea, he had 2000 baths. In 2nd Chronicles, Ch. No 4, Verse No 5, he had 3000 baths. Did he have 2000 baths or did he have 3000 baths?. There is a clear-cut mathematical contradiction.

Provide the answer of the above questions, and we will talk further.

May Allah (S.W.T) Guide You To The True Path. Ameen.

alright, i wont go much... China has the population to create an army of two hundred million..So thats that.. Hebrew has been kept alive even after romans destroyed the temple in 70 a.d. . I been to a messianic congregations, jewish conventions where hebrew is spoken and written.. Israel uses it to this day...why do you persist on lying? and if language is the issue why then are there 100 foriegn words in the koran from egyptian, hebrew, greek, syriac, akkadian, ethipian, persian? The Bible wasnt just written in Hebrew, it was in greek as well..and thats it.

(Mar 05 at 15:07) makariz makariz's gravatar image

Of course the Bible has many versions which are corrupted. The only true way to read word for word is the original hebrew and greek form which it was written in. The original text of the bible was always in question but then was later debunked when an arabic boy accidentally discovered the dead sea scrolls in jars that were placed in 2 caves which were the original writtings of the bible, proven by test such as carbon dating. So your defense of the bible being inaccurate and corrupted over time no longer exist.

(Mar 05 at 15:09) makariz makariz's gravatar image

scientific errors? sura 18:86, the sun set in the muddy springs???? The earth being created in 6 but then later says 8

sura 6:14 says abraham was the first to believe but than sura 7:143 says it was moses.. Which is it? Just like the non-problematic 2000 or 3000 baths that solomon had which you brought up..

2000 or 3000 baths does not change doctrine and is no big deal, Grammatical/numerical errors exist especially when writting for HOURS.

the koran teaches muhammad never performed miracles, but the hadith said he did but if both are DIVINELY inspired than why does this problem exist?

(Mar 05 at 15:10) makariz makariz's gravatar image

If you wouldnt have brought up non-harmful contradictions I wouldnt bring up the fact that several versions of the koran were in use by people until Caliph Uthman standardized a common koran and burned the rest in 650' a.d. So for the simplest comprehensive place of creation to be such and issue, it should be more of an issue whether you know if the koran which you are reading is THE OFFICIAL KORAN.

(Mar 05 at 15:10) makariz makariz's gravatar image

Since you want scrap , prophecies, manuscripts and other such ways to authenticate the koran or the bible...I guess we have to move on towards popular secular historians of mention about events of the bible actually happening from such as the crucifixion, nero killing christians, etc. These historians werent christians at the time, i assume they probably changed. One of the historians worked for Rome.

(Mar 05 at 15:10) makariz makariz's gravatar image

And if its such a blasphemy to be a christian, who is to blame, me or allah? Cause what i've read was that Allah transfigured someone to look like Jesus whom then died on the cross.. If believing Jesus is God and died on the cross is such blasphemy why then did Allah create this illusion for me to believe it? I would be going to hell then because of his doing of deception, so therefore Allah doesnt Judge righteously and has to lie by having some dress up as Jesus.

(Mar 05 at 15:10) makariz makariz's gravatar image

Alhamdulillah I have all the answers for your critics. But as I have previously said to your friend @Only that I don't want to give answers only, I also want answers for my questions which he gave me none. So ,it would be better if you can answer my posted questions first so that I'll answer yours.

and regarding you saying that 2000-3000 baths are no big deal and grammar/num. error, we are talking about words of GOD which can have no contradictions. At least you agreed that there are errors in Bible. I laughed when you said errors exist due to hours of writing, when one inspired by GOD.

Pargali please don't use your opinion, on Islam. It is prohibited to guess the future by looking at the stars. That is fortunetelling, which is prohibited.

There is no point in arguing with them, they think they are right. Even if you show every defect in their book, they will still follow So do not debate in a pointless debate

"As to those who reject Faith it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; They will not believe. "Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing and on their eyes is a veil Great is the penalty they incur."  [Al-Qur'an 2:6-7]

In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie. 2:11 And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers." 2:12 Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not. 2:13 And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.

Reading the scriptures entails alot of things yes prophesies being that is important to research and understand. But also very much is paying close attention to all of gods promises. Like his promise to give us life , death, and life again to be judged . There are many more promises one being we are rewarded for the things we do good or bad ending to our final destination as heaven or hell. One of the biggest promises in my opinion is the promise of the final prophet. Now I am referring to the one prophet who was promised by god to come after Jesus may peace and blessings be upon him. There are many verses Jesus pbuh that he speaks of this final prophet to come. Pay attention to those but im going to ask you a favor. Do research on Hebrew scriptures. I will tell you that in these texts Jesus pbuh gave the name of this prophet. In our English translations the name however is replaced with words not a name. God willing this will help anyone who is seeking more knowledge for their faith and will strengthen them to find nothing but the truth and the message we have been given by god. Its not about who is right and who is wrong its truly about the TRUTH. Using reason and the discernment of our own hearts. I was raised Christian and found through reading the bible and doing much research connecting the dots sort of speak , found the missing price. Their were lots of verses like when Moses speaks of the one who will bring forth a fiery law. And when god spoke about the final prophet he said I will place my words in his mouth and that which he will speak. Also verses saying this man would be unlearned meaning he would not read not write. And Jesus spoke that the final prophet would speak of him. God willing thus will help someone as this helped me.

To bring conclusion to what I previously said I am now Muslim and my personal mission is to establish Islam . I believe the Qur'an is that final revelation god promised in earlier scripture and I believe Muhammad pbuh is the seal of the prophets. So you can add that to you prophesies fufilled.

Jesus was not just a prophet and He did not speak of anyone coming after Him. He did say that He would send the Holy Spirit after He left to help us in our walk with God (Muhammed is not the Holy Spirit) but Jesus said that He is the Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End and there is no other name among man that can save us.

Abraham is widely regarded as the Patriarch of monotheism and the common father of the Jews, Christians and Muslims. Through His second son, Isaac, came all Israelite prophets including such towering figures as Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon and Jesus. May peace and blessings be upon them all. The advent of these great prophets was in partial fulfillment of God's promises to bless the nations of earth through the descendents of Abraham (Genesis12:2-3).Such fulfillment is wholeheartedly accepted by Muslims whose faith considers the belief in and respect of all prophets an article of faith.

BLESSINGS OF ISHMAEL AND ISAAC

Was the first born son of Abraham (Ishmael) and his descendants included in God's covenant and promise? A few verses from the Bible may help shed some light on this question;

1) Genesis 12:2-3 speaks of God's promise to Abraham and his descendants before any child was born to him.

2) Genesis 17:4 reiterates God's promise after the birth of Ishmael and before the birth of Isaac.

3) In Genesis, ch. 21. Isaac is specifically blessed but Ishmael was also specifically blessed and promised by God to become "a great nation" especially in Genesis 21:13, 18.

4) According to Deuteronomy 21:15-17 the traditional rights and privileges of the first born son are not to be affected by the social status of his mother (being a "free" woman such as Sarah, Isaac's mother, or a "Bondwoman" such as Hagar, Ishmael's mother). This is only consistent with the moral and humanitarian principles of all revealed faiths.

answered Nov 29 '12 at 13:49 sadie ♦ 1.2k7 sadie's gravatar image

5) The full legitimacy of Ishmael as Abraham's son and "seed" and the full legitimacy of his mother, Hagar, as Abraham's wife are clearly stated in Genesis 21:13 and 16:3. After Jesus, the last Israelite messenger and prophet, it was time that God's promise to bless Ishmael and his descendants be fulfilled. Less than 600years after Jesus, came the last messenger of God, Muhammad, from the progeny of Abraham through Ishmael. God's blessing of both of the main branches of Abraham's family tree was now fullfilled. But are there additional corroborating evidence that the Bible did in fact foretell the advent of prophet Muhammad?

answered Nov 29 '12 at 13:52 sadie ♦ 1.2k7 sadie's gravatar image

Long time after Abraham, God's promise to send the long-awaited Messenger was repeated this time in Moses' words. In Deuteronomy 18:18, Moses spoke of the prophet to be sent by God who is:

1) From among the Israelite's "brethren", a reference to their Ishmaelite cousins as Ishmael was the other son of Abraham who was explicitly promised to become a "great nation".

2) A prophet like unto Moses. There were hardly any two prophets ,who were so much alike as Moses and Muhammad. Both were given comprehensive law code of life, both encountered their enemies and were victors in miraculous ways, both were accepted as prophets/statesmen and both migrated following conspiracies to assassinate them. Analogies between Moses and Jesus overlooks not only the above similarities but other crucial ones as well (e.g. the natural birth, family life and death of Moses and Muhammad but not of Jesus, who was regarded by His followers as the Son of God and not exclusively a messenger of God, as Moses and Muhammad were and as Muslim belief Jesus was).

THE AWAITED PROPHET WAS TO COME FROM ARABIA

Deuteronomy 33:1-2 combines references to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God (i.e. God's revelation) coming from Sinai, rising from Seir (probably the village of Sa'ir near Jerusalem) and shining forth from Paran. According to Genesis 21:21, the wilderness of Paran was the place where Ishmael settled (i.e. Arabia, specifically Mecca).

Indeed the King James version of the Bible mentions the pilgrims passing through the valley of Ba'ca (another name of Mecca) in Psalms 84:4-6.

Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the beloved of God. His elect and messenger who will bring down a law to be awaited in the isles and who "shall not fail nor be discouraged till he have set judgement on earth." Verse 11, connects that awaited one with the descendants of Ke'dar. Who is Ke'dar? According to Genesis 25:13, Ke'dar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of prophet Muhammad.

MUHAMMAD'S MIGRATION FROM MECCA TO MEDINA: PROPHECIED IN THE BIBLE?

Habakkuk 3:3 speaks of God (God's help) coming from Te'man (an Oasis North of Medina according to J. Hasting's Dictionary of the Bible), and the holy one (coming) from Paran. That holy one who under persecution migrated from Paran (Mecca) to be received enthusiastically in Medina was none but prophet Muhammad. Indeed the incident of the migration of the prophet and his persecuted followers is vividly described in Isaiah 21:13-17. That section foretold as well about the battle of Badr in which the few ill-armed faithful miraculously defeated the "mighty" men of Ke'dar, who sought to destroy Islam and intimidate their own folks who turned -to Islam.

THE QUR'AN (KORAN) FORETOLD IN THE BIBLE?

For twenty-three years, God's words (the Qur'an) were truely put into Muhammad's mouth. He was not the "author" of the Qur'an. The Qur'an was dictated to him by Angel Gabriel who asked Muhammad to simply repeat the words of the Qur'an as he heard them. These words were then committed to memory and to writing by those who hear them during Muhammad's life time and under his supervision.

Was it a coincidence that the prophet "like unto Moses" from the "brethren" of the Israelites (i.e. from the lshmaelites) was also described as one in whose mouth God will put his words and that he will speak in the name of God, (Deuteronomy 18:18-20). Was it also a coincidence the "Paraclete" that Jesus foretold to come after Him was described as one who "shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak (John 16:13)

Was it another coincidence that Isaiah ties between the messenger connected with Ke'dar and a new song (a scripture in a new language) to be sang unto the Lord (Isaiah 42:10-11). More explicitly, prophesies Isaiah "For with stammering lips, and another tongue, will he speak to this people" (Isaiah 28:11). This latter verse correctly describes the "stammering lips" of Prophet Muhammad reflecting the state of tension and concentration he went through at the time of revelation. Another related point is that the Qur'an was revealed in piece-meals over a span of twenty three years. It is interesting to compare this with Isaiah 28:10 whichspeaks of the same thing.

THAT PROPHET- PARACLETE- MUHAMMAD

Up to the time of Jesus (peace be upon him), the Israelites were still awaiting for that prophet like unto Moses prophecied in Deuteronomy 18:18. When John the Baptist came, they asked him if he was Christ and he said "no". They asked him if he was Elias and he said "no". Then, in apparent reference to Deuteronomy 18:18, they asked him "Art thou that Prophet" and he answered, "no". (John 1: 1 9-2 1).

In the Gospel according to John (Chapters 14, 15, 16) Jesus spoke of the "Paraclete" or comforter who will come after him, who will be sent by Father as another Paraclete, who will teach new things which the contemporaries of Jesus could not bear. While the Paraclete is described as the spirit of truth, (whose meaning resemble Muhammad's famous title Al-Amin, the trustworthy), he is identified in one verse as the Holy Ghost (John 14:26). Such a designation is however inconsistent with the profile of that Paraclete. In the words of the Dictionary of the Bible, (Ed. J. Mackenzie) "These items, it must be admitted do not give an entirely coherent picture."

Indeed history tells us that many early Christians understood the Paraclete to be a man and not a spirit. This might explain the followings who responded to some who claimed, without meeting the criteria stipulated by Jesus, to be the awaited "Paraciete".

It was Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who was the Paraclete, Comforter, helper, admonisher sent by God after Jesus. He testified of Jesus, taught new things which could not be borne at Jesus' time, he spoke what he heard (revelation), he dwells with the believers (through his well-preserved teachings). Such teachings will remain forever because he was the last messenger of God, the only Universal Messenger to unite the whole of humanity under God and on the path of PRESERVED truth. He told of many things to come which "came to pass" in the minutest detail meeting, the criterion given by Moses to distinguish between the true prophet and the false prophets (Deuteronomy 18:22). He did reprove the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgement (John 16:8-11)

WAS THE SHIFT OF RELIGIOUS LEADERSHIP PROPHECIED?

Following the rejection of the last Israelite prophet, Jesus, it was about time that God's promise to make Ishmael a great nation be fulfilled (Genesis 21:13, 18)

In Matthew 21:19-21, Jesus spoke of the fruitless fig tree (A Biblical symbol of prophetic heritage) to be cleared after being given a last chance of three years (the duration of Jesus' ministry) to give fruit. In a later verse in the same chapter, Jesus said: "Therefore, say I unto you, The Kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruit thereof" (Matthew 21:43). That nation of Ishmael's descendants (the rejected stone in Matthew 21:42) which was victorious against all super-powers of its time as prophecied by Jesus: "And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken, but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder" (Matthew 21:44).

OUT OF CONTEXT COINCIDENCE?

Is it possible that the numerous prophecies cited here are all individually and combined out of context misinterpretations? Is the opposite true, that such infrequently studied verses fit together consistently and clearly point to the advent of the man who changed the course of human history, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Is it reasonable to conclude that all these prophecies, appearing in different books of the Bible and spoken by various prophets at different times were all coincidence? If this is so here is another strange "coincidence"!

One of the signs of the prophet to come from Paran (Mecca) is that he will come with "ten thousands of saints" (Deuteronomy 33:2 KJV). That was the number of faithful who accompanied Prophet Muhammad to Paran (Mecca) in his victorious, bloodless return to his birthplace to destroy the remaining symbols of idolatry in the Ka'bah.

Says God as quoted by Moses: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. (Deuteronomy 18:19)

Dear Readers: May the light of truth shine in your heart and mind. May it lead you to peace and certitude in this life and eternal bliss in hereafter.

AMEEN
